Kindly

Hi, the guy has won. please stop reverting my edits. 41.143.226.214 (talk) 18:25, 6 May 2016 (UTC)

This edit is ill-advised. You clearly can't read Ukrainian since you tagged the article (wrongly) as Russian, so how can you judge whether or not it makes a credible claim of notability or not? In fact, it make a very clear claim of notability (Member of the Ukrainian parliament) so is not an A7. In cases, like this, please don't be so over hasty to delete. Link leads to virus

Hello, CAPTAIN RAJU,

I don't understand why you removed my edit made yesterday, which warned users against clicking the Budapest Report link in the Szalonna (bacon) article's footnotes. I just checked again, and "budapestreport.com" leads to virus-infested pages that freeze Chrome and generate pop-ups that cannot be closed. Would you please protect the public by removing this link? That would be extremely constructive! Thank you.

May 2016[edit] Information icon Hello, I'm CAPTAIN RAJU. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Szalonna (bacon) has been undone because it did not appear constructive. Hi! You recently reversed an edit I made on Kapoor and Sons. I believe my edit was constructive as "sexual deviant" and "gay" are not synonymous. "Sexual deviant" implies many things--including pedophilia--and today "homosexuality" is not the definition most people think of. Given the content of the film, "gay" is a more precise and appropriate description. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.29.129.210 (talk) 00:55, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

GA Cup-Round 3 Clarification

WikiProject Good Articles's 2016 GA Cup - Round 3

Hello, GA Cup competitors!

It has been brought to our attention that we made a mistake in the last newsletter. In the last newsletter, we said that the "4th place" overall would make the Final along with the top user from each pool. However, the users who will advance will be the top user from each pool along with "4th and 5th place" overall.

We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that we caused.

Cheers from Figureskatingfan, 3family6, Jaguar, MrWooHoo, and Zwerg Nase.

To subscribe or unsubscribe to future GA Cup newsletter, please add or remove your name to our mailing list. If you are a participant still competing, you will be on the mailing list no matter what as this is the easiest way to communicate between all participants.

Tagging sockpuppets is fine, but you should avoid using the "confirmed" label (as you did here) as this is reserved for CheckUsers. Favonian (talk) 11:58, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Tomoyoshi Koyama

Hi Captain Raju, thankyou for the message. In regards to the team that Tomoyoshi Koyama is riding for, I believe the change I made was correct (T. Pro Yuzy Honda NTS with WOW) and the error was made by you when you reverted it back to what it was before (T. Pro Yuzy Honda NTS). If you check the official website for the Asia Road Race Championship, (asiaroadracing.com) you will find in the results section from the most recent round in Thailand, in there the team name T. Pro Yuzy Honda NTS with WOW is the name of team that Tomoyoshi Koyama rides for.

Kind Regards,

My Captain...

Yes. You are absolutely correct... my edit served no useful or constructive purpose other than to make me feel a little better for a moment or two. Americans ALWAYS refer to hockey as "Ice Hockey". Many of them (the vast majority, in fact) have no idea that there is ANY other kind of hockey, yet they are steadfast in their insistence upon using the qualifier, "ice". It makes me crazy. I can't imagine anyone outside of Canada having even a passing interest in Charlie Hodge (may he rest in peace), and so I modified the name of the game, which he played very well, to reflect how he, himself, would refer to the game. Here, in the great wide north, it is simply "hockey". Any other kind of hockey should use an appropriate descriptor (field, tonsil, horse &c.).

Sincerely

Disambiguation link notification for May 11

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Locked Door (2012 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yang Zi. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:54, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Anmoll Mallik - Wiki Edits

Hi,

I noticed that the edits made recently have been undone on Anmoll Mallik's Wiki profile.

Could you please let me know the reason for this? It would be great if you could provide me with a solution as well.

Also, Anmol Malik has changed her name to 'Anmoll Mallik'. We would like to incorporate this change on her Wiki profile as well. Do let me know how do I got about it.

Awaiting your reply.

Francis Bacon Bits

I really don't understand why you don't appreciate my edit from "Francis Bacon" to "Francis Bacon Bits" You have not researched him enough, or nearly at all because this is his full name. Please change it back. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beanieneff (talkcontribs) 18:27, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Kathy Reichs

I made an edit to the page for Kathy Reichs changing "She is one of the eighty-two forensic anthropologists certified by the American Board of Forensic Anthropology" to "She is one of the one hundred and fifteen forensic anthropologists certified by the American Board of Forensic Anthropology" because there are now 115 board-certified forensic anthropologists. It was "undone" for "not being constructive." I was correcting an old figure - not sure how this is not constructive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nnnagem (talkcontribs) 19:47, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

"Hello, I'm CAPTAIN RAJU. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Shqiptar with this edit, without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. CAPTAIN RAJU (✉) 20:02, 11 May 2016 (UTC)"

I removed that paragraph because had racial expression, anti-albanians,insult to albanians, and stirring hatred between two different nations — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hakuli (talkcontribs) 20:08, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

@Hakuli:, i understand that the paragraph has a racist expression. However it is also explanatory. I added the sources regarding that. It is important to note that within the article as the word shqiptar has been transformed in other languages as a racist expression. I have used academic sources to cite this. The article is about the history of the word and its associated variants. Best.Resnjari (talk) 21:18, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

3 minutes after creation is far too soon to add CSD:A3 to articles and getting into WP:BITE territory. The advice at Special:NewPages says: "Articles should not be tagged for speedy deletion as having no context (CSD A1) or no content (CSD A3) moments after creation, as not all users will have added full content in their first revision." In this case, external sources do suggest this could be notable. Valenciano (talk) 08:41, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Non-English article

Hi, you recently added the "not English" template to a Russian article Печурке and listed it at WP:PNT. But it was a one-sentence article and the google translate link showed it said "mushrooms are a type of fungi and some are poisonous". In the case of these articles, you can use WP:A10 to have it speedy deleted rather than listing it for translation. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 09:01, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Christ the King (Świebodzin)

Hi CAPTAIN RAJU, the recent contribution I made to Art Deco was constructive. I changed the link to the article 'Christ the King (statue)' to 'Christ the King (Świebodzin)' because 'Christ the King (statue)' redirects to 'Christ the King (Świebodzin)'. Please acknowledge this on my talk page and revert your reversion. Regards, 81.134.19.3 (talk) 14:15, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi CAPTAIN RAJU,

Thanks for your message. The reason I did this change is that I think the article's expanded beyond a stub, now' in the edit summary.

Please let me know what I can do to remove the "stub", thanks.

You undid my changes to Xanthoproteic reaction

I deleted the section "procedure" because it was a how-to see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_manual.2C_guidebook.2C_textbook.2C_or_scientific_journal and even as a how to it was fairly vague. If we accept "procedure" sections for how to perform this reaction should we not have cake recipes on the cake page or how to roast a turkey step by step on the turkey page? I think the general view provided in the main article is sufficient.

Second having a section called "real life" is idiotic, this reaction only occurs in "real life" the section is not well written. It starts, "When you drop on your skin or nails" which makes no sense. The whole section could be summed up in one sentence and merged with the main article which is what I did before you deleted my changes.
