Kitty Flanagan

Hi Captain Raju,

I recently attempted to put a photo on Kitty Flanagan's wiki page. It did not upload and left it just with a red coloured link. Apparently that was not constructive however. If possible, could you please upload one?

Kind Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.148.172.30 (talk) 08:35, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Your warning on User talk:198.210.126.40

I believe that User talk:198.210.126.40's edit on Daytona 500 was genuine and good, and you reverted it as vandalism, and sent him a warning. I don't believe that was deserved. I realize that you make dozens of edits a day, and it is easy to make a mistake... You should consider removing the warning. Dhrm77 (talk) 12:27, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Likewise, your reverts here at Dave Grohl and here at Impromptus (Schubert) were unwarranted. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 09:56, 15 June 2016 (UTC)

Thanks

I came back to remove the Richard Jefferson nationality tag. It had "Peanut" there previously. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryanjones83 (talkcontribs) 18:21, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Korean Friendship Association

Greetings Raju:

I am the user that changed the translation of the English Wikipedia's page of Korean Friendship Association, and I am kindly writing to you just to justify the change I previously made on this issue. As I am a Spaniard, I obviously know that "Asociación Coreana de Amistad" (Korean Association of Friendship) is mistranslated from the English official name and sounds kind of weird. It should be rendered instead as "Asociación de Amistad con Corea", just also as the Spanish webpage of the Association states (http://kfa-paisvalenciano.blogspot.com.es/).

Thank you for time and excuse my English because I am not native. Good day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.38.16.202 (talk) 18:26, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Wii Motion Plus

Hi.

I wanted to specify that Wii Party U does not use the Wii Motion Plus, unlike other games on the list. Is there any way to do so?

A cookie for you!

Thank you for your recent fixes to the WWI song articles.

Pritzker Military Museum & Library's interns are working on adding the notable WWI and WWII songs to Wikipedia and linking them to the appropriate composer and lyricist articles over the summer. Please feel free to interact with them and give them editing pointers. I know they will appreciate the help. To see the GLAM project page, visit Wikipedia:GLAM/Pritzker. The VIRGINIA Class submarine

Hello Captain Raju. When talking about the class of a ship, these should be capitalized, for example VIRGINIA Class submarine, when talking about the USS Virginia, it does not get capitalized. Also, the SSN-800 was named today as the USS Arkansas, so I was trying to update the hyperlink in order for it to go to the SSN-800 wiki page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.113.53.162 (talk) 18:54, 15 June 2016 (UTC)

A kitten for you!

Thank you for helping me with editing song articles!

Thomas Wilson Paterson

Regarding Thomas Wilson Paterson, did you do any research before reverting my edit? Neither Wikipedia nor Google Maps has any record of a place called "Darnel" in Scotland. However, Darvel is in the parish of Loudon, in Ayshire, and Loudon is where Paterson's birth was registered: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XYSY-SVV Furthermore, both Paterson's birth registry and his record in the 1901 census: http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/census/1901/Pages/item.aspx?itemid=122614 list his birth year as 1850, rather than 1851. (Granted, the Lieutenant Governor web site gives his birth year as 1851, but I wouldn't consider it a primary source.)

My edit to MKUltra

I thoroughly believe you have made a mistake in reverting my edit. The first sentence of the article MKUltra contains embedded within it a subordinate clause, giving more information regarding the projects name. Subordinate clauses must be surrounded, on both sides, by a punctuation mark, as that embedded subordinate clause was. This punctuation mark may be a comma or an em-dash. The sentence contains only one em-dash around the subordinate clause "sometime's referred to as the CIA's mind control program"; this is simply incorrect, as two are needed. For further information, please consult the Wikipedia page regarding the dash. Given this information, I have undone your recent contribution. If you believe I have made a mistake, please contact me. Duduk

Hello there. I am not sure why my changes have been seen as "not constructive'. I have made changes to the page to reflect the true name of the instrument. As an Armenian instrument, it is important the true name be used, which is actually widely used by Armenians and in Armenia (I am Armenian). If we are trying to make Wikipedia as factual as possible, true names and terms should be used.

 Fixed - CAPTAIN RAJU () 11:50, 17 June 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure you noticed the bizarre edits preceding your minor revision as I linked in this section's header, but I thought I would notify you that I have not only undone the unconstructive edits but also have undone your revision. Both of those users have made questionable edits; you'll notice that I am the only user who has really contributed anything to Draft:2011–12 North American winter, so to have two different users make unhelpful edits within such a short period of time is something worth noting. Proposed deletion of Sexual Response (film)

The article Sexual Response (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no reason to think this is notable

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Sexual Response (film), please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. nyuszika7h (talk) 10:56, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

JG HERTZLER CREDIT ON GOLDEN COMPASS GAME

I am the publicist/agent/attorney for actor JG Hertzler. His voice credit addition IS NOT a mistake. If there is a problem with the format, you may correct it, however, his contract for payment on the game requires he be given credit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JGHSMC (talkcontribs) 22:04, 18 June 2016 (UTC)
