Chances of succeeding an RfA?
Hello Jj137.
I am hoping you can give me some advice.
I was nominated for an RfA two weeks ago. I failed on the grounds that I had too little experience in non-vandalfighting areas.
Since then, I have not really changed my editing patterns. However, I have done a lot of vandal fighting since then.
This is a fairly hard-to-read text version of my wannabe kate summary at the start of my failed RfA
Here is my wannabe kate summary now.
Someone asked me today if they could nominate me for admin. I told them I would have to ask some experienced users what they thought about me trying again so soon after failing an RfA.
Based on what I have done in the interval, do you think there is any chance that I would pass an RfA?

Scouting Report
I finally got someone to accept my invite. If you don't remember, I hired myself to try to search for people who contributed enough to Red Sox articles, and invite them to join the Red Sox WikiProject. I invited 3 people so far. The one who accepted was Burner0718. I will continue my scouting. I just wanted to give you a notice. Scouting Report

- Well...OK. I guess I will be my own scout. It can be my own little job like it already is. The reason why I put that on there was because when I was doing my own little scouting thing, it was really fun, knowing how you have a part for the wikiproject, and I wanted everyone to feel that. I'm going to delete it in a day or two if that's OK, although, I'm going to keep the userbox I made. BTW, has anyone ever become an admin when they were at wikipedia for only 1 month, with a little more than 1000 edits? I'd like your opinion on the WP:SOX. Check out the Red Sox News Report section. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Boston Red Sox/News Report is where people can find resources of where to find Red Sox News. It will also provide something asking to find more resources for the news. It is then edited by members of the wikiproject and is then added to the Red Sox news on the main page. like to add a certain news to the Newsletter, like if the Red Sox win the 2008 World Series or something a little less major like Manny Ramirez hitting his 500th home run. I thought I should get it out of the way now instead of later.
I am not going to be as active if not inactive with editing on Wikipedia. I have other things now to keep me busy. Like a house, school, support my Red Sox =), and a girlfriend to keep me occupied. I have really enjoyed this time with you guys and value your friendship. I will still continue to check my talk page, so I'm not retiring. Of course, I'm still doing the fantasy baseball league. Welcome new Scout
Hi, and welcome to the Scouting Business! The scouts here to monitor all members of the Red Sox WikiProject. We then add any information that we find to the Scouting Report on the main page. The whole scouting business is used so everyone else can see what and how the WikiProject is doing. If you scout often and if you add numerous reports to the main page, a manager will be sure to promote you.
Looking for somewhere to start or do you have nothing to do? Here are a few things you can do:
- Monitor member's contributions using the members list at the Scouting Office, and if you find a report, add it to the Scouting Report at the main page.
- Invite other people to join the WikiProject by adding {{WP BOSOX INVITE}} on their talk page so that you can monitor more people.
If you have any comments, suggestions, or would like to talk about the scouting business in general, feel free to leave a message on the Office's talk page or ask the founder of the scouting business on RyRy5's talk page.

Hi, I'm the anonymous user who edited the Chinese Remainder Theorem page. Did you actually look at my changes before reverting them? I understand that it is helpful to provide edit summaries, but it shouldn't be necessary for a user to be either logged in or provide an edit summary --- that seems to go against the whole point/spirit of Wikipedia. Anyone who can make a helpful change should be able to make one, and other users should probably not revert them without a careful check unless they are obviously vandalism.
