A WikiReaper (not to be confused with a WikiVampire) is a user who is almost never supportive of others, and tries to drive other souls away from Wikipedia using its scythe, which they call opposition.
Identifying a WikiReaper[edit]
The most common place where WikiReapers are seen is WP:RFA, but they can also be in other areas such as WP:FAC.
Some WikiReapers are noticed very quickly, while others go unnoticed for long periods of time. The WikiReapers that go unnoticed for long periods of time are the most powerful and persuasive ones. While the ones that are noticed quickly are less powerful, they are much more disruptive than their more stealthy counterparts. The first kind of WikiReapers oppose for unclear or nonsensical reasons, oppose over the smallest mistakes, and they may act uncivil or impolite. The second kind of WikiReapers are known for causing drama, and their opposition often receives an extensive amount of discussion.
Reasons for WikiReapers[edit]
It is unclear why WikiReapers always oppose, and each WikiReaper may have their own unique reasons for opposing. Some may dislike a process, some may use certain a process as a way of bullying other users, and some may be serious when they oppose. Their reasons may remain unclear forever.
