New section

Felt like a new section! Other one is too long! Anyway, I'm curious about why you want to talk about the Columbine one, and the Virginia Tech massacre. The Virginina one was more recent... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:58, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Ah. I would, but I don't know much about it. Those types of things depress me, is I try to avoid reading/knowing too much bout them. Though, I'm never suprised at what people can do to each other anymore. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:49, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
You're right. See ya!! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:52, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Sigh* Do try and stay out of trouble! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 00:11, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
If it's the addition of unsourced info or whatever, put in a request at WP:RPP, and ask for help in reverting it at WP:PW. Don't just keep reverting and reverting; that's how you get into trouble. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:03, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
I suppose you could invoke WP:IAR, but I've always found that it's just more sensible not to. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:17, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, we'll just have to wait and see. I hope you don't get blocked though. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:40, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

<-- I'll stop distracting you then! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:56, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Well, I feel like I'm distracting you! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 19:49, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I figured that. Kudos to you for keeping cool though! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 20:08, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Yea, it would! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 20:19, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Alrighty then! Bye! ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 20:33, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Good. Keep it that way! Responded to your comments at Mike Lockwood btw. Want to say thanks again for that. Take your time, there's no big rush! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 14:24, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Maybe, it's hard to judge. I just try not to break it, and if I need help reverting I'll post a message at WP:PW. It just avoids hassle. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:26, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

<-- Maybe, but it's not worth all the drama and/or a block. There are always bound to be rules you disagree with. The trick is to let them bother you too much and just get on with it. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 21:40, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Yay!! Is she nice? What are you guys planning? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 13:28, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm glad for you! She's really pretty! Slightly off-topic, but your myspace background is amazing! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 02:43, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
You don't look very happy in that photo! I was just looking through your music playlist! I approve. Seether, System of a Down, Three Days Grace, Johnny Cash, MCR, Godsmack and Saliva!! Me like!! Nice selection, though I can't believe that you don't have "Never Gonna Change" by Saliva. That's my fave song of theirs! And where's Helena and/or Mama? Dude *shakes head* ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 02:55, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
LOL. Yea, I got in trouble with one my friends the other day. He hates MCR and came round to my house while I was playing it! I had to wrestle him to the ground to stop him from throwing it out the window! ;( ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:09, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
He's 6 foot 4. I can't life him! ;( Yea, I don't know. I got into them pretty late, a few months before the Black Parade came out, so I don't feel qualified to comment, though I know a few people who would agree with you. I'm mainly listening to Avenged Sevenfold at the minute. I was introduced them about 2 weeks ago, and they're awesome! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:18, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Yea, I have City of Evil, I love Beast and the Harlot! I'm listening to it now actually... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:31, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Alright, but I'll be getting off in a while. Since it's 4.30am here... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:36, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

I see that you kept on changing a correct fact that TNA Turning Point 2008 PPV was moved to November(was scheduled for December), until you finally checked yourself and then made the change yourself that was already made before by others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.14.151.126 (talk) 03:12, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

3rr warning

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bound for Glory IV. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Aspects (talk) 23:13, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

I was giving you a three-revert warning because you made four reverts in a 24 hour period on the article. The "edit war" is just a term used in the 3rr warning template I put on your talk page. Aspects (talk) 23:35, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Per Wikipedia:3rr: "Contributors must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period, whether or not the edits involve the same material, except in certain circumstances." Your four reversions do not fit the exceptions. The reversions do not have to be about the same topic or the same material, four reversions not fitting the exceptions violate the 3rr. Aspects (talk) 23:51, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Please read through Wikipedia:3rr and explain how you are following the rules. Aspects (talk) 00:02, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Since you made another reversion after given a 3rr warning, I reported you to Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/3RR#Wrestlinglover_reported_by_Aspects_.28Result:_.29. Aspects (talk) 02:59, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Re: JD

Hey, the reason I haven't nominated JD is because of the writing, specifically the Booker/Angle feud, the whole "sex" thing. Question: Why haven't you nominated Lockdown? :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:31, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Aw, good reason. If you nominate it, I'll help you out with the review, only if you want me to. :) Me, I'm still taking my time with fixing wrestling articles and fixing actor/actresses articles. I added a PR to Maggie Gyllenhaa's article and see if its FA material. ;) Do you have any projects? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:46, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, I haven't "given up" on it, just that the writing its what troubling me right now. So, instead of having the article in the waiting list, I'll try to work on it more and then nominate it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:41, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Haha, thanks. :) I gonna probably ask a copy-editor or something to copy-edit the article, maybe from there it'll be "FA material". Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Lockdown isn't doing good. But, if you do need help, you know where to hit me. :P --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:49, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, like I've been "told", just add the "main points". Hard to believe this is what people tell me to do. :) Anyways, try to cut whatever they told you needs cutting and you'll probably do fine. Who knows, you might even get the oppose changed to a support. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:06, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Wait, do they want you to remove two feuds from the background or from the match? Yeah, I saw your reasoning, I support it, but, that's how the FAc process works. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:25, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

RE:PPVs

Yeah, I was looking through the TNA lists and a lot of them are still in that list format. I'd enjoy taking them up into full articles and hopefully GAs. Any PPV from about 2003 on is a great candidate for GA, since there's sources abound for them. There's still a bit for me to get through on my list before hitting Against All Odds, but it shouldn't be too long; a month maybe. I'll let you know when I get there :). Cheers, DoomsDay 20:12, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

Shame no one else helps out on TNA PPVs. I'll be sure to help out with them. TNA can put on a good show, too. Cheers, DoomsDay 20:19, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

RE: Template question

Not sure...I don't know very much about those sorts of templates, quite honestly. You could remove the template altogether and just write out the numbers, so then you could just add "foot" instead of "feet". Nikki311 01:18, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Wazzup?

Hey Will, returning your message I left WP:PW because I felt it was the best thing for me to do. So what have you been up to? SteelersFan94 04:35, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Not much, me and my friends toilet papered a house last night, and still trying to spend time with my girlfriend but things are kinda moving south there. If you know what I mean =). SteelersFan94 05:29, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
None taken, and yeah I don't do stuff like that all the time. We went to wall mart and got 4 of the big thirty packs of toilet paper! It was friggen awesome! Hey do you follow college football? Kentucky is playing Arkansas (my home team). SteelersFan94 05:38, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
I have lived in a place like that. Do you live in a small town? I live in Little Rock, Arkansas. SteelersFan94 05:55, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Re: Opinion

Looks pretty good, but I would be unsure about including the "Notes" section, especially with the Champion info. I thought that it was widely accepted that that info doesn't go on the roster pages. *shrugs* Also, can you get rid of the space between the "Tag Team/Stable" and the "(s)" in the heading? It looks a little strange to me. BTW, awesome song! I shall raise you this Be warned its kind of strange! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:16, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Yea, MSI rocks! Dude, how am supposed to come up videos to beat all those? You'll hve to give me a while... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:35, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Ok. Nite nite! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:40, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Morning. 09:47am to be precise. You're lucky I'm online. Should be in school but I'm sick. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:48, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Dude, what the hell were you soing up at 5 in the morning? You crazy. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 12:09, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

<--Makes sense I suppose. I can't really talk, I have to take sleeping pills... Price of being an insomniac. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:58, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

No, tablets derived from Valerian. Tastes disgusting. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:38, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
The valerian works, after about half an hour you're dead to the world! ;) Besides, my mother would kill me if I took anything not derived from a "natural" source, like Valerian which is a herb. She's opposed to those king of things. And pesticides, and generally chemicals of any kind... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:44, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Ah, ok! I'll talk to her. Maybe she'll listen. Anyway, why haven't you nominated TNA Bound for Glory for GA yet? It's on the waiting list. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 01:13, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Makes sense. Dude you have a lot of stuff on the waiting list! You've been busy. Hows the Lockdown FAC going? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 01:53, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
See what I mean? A lot of stuff!! Yea dude I hope Lockdown passes, you've put so much effort into it. I've never been bothered to put that much effort in to just one article. It'd make me absolutely more crazy. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 02:11, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

<--Ok, I was wrong. I'm not the crazy one, you are! LOL dude that's a long list. I wish you luck with it. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 14:30, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Nothing really at the moment. Except decreasing the cleanup list. slowly I'm not bothered to start work on another article after the Hardy Boyz. Once that passes GA I'm going to nominate it as a good topic though. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:05, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. I appreciate it. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:16, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Alright. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:08, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Hopefully it'll pass that time. Good luck. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:59, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
I'd say it has to do with WP:SIZE though. If it gets too long, then *shrugs* ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:27, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Hopefully. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:38, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
LOL. Anyway, I'll catch up with ya later! See ya! ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:19, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Hey. My oppose was grounded in fundamental issues with sourcing and such which doesn't necessarily only affect your FAC; I suggest you talk to iMatthew, as the same concerns over reliable sources were brought up at his FAC. I look forward to establishing the reliability of the sources completely and perhaps finding other sources to improve the articles. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 01:44, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
The size of the sections got me to oppose, but that is subjective. Different reviewers might not mind that, and you did address it somewhat. What prompted me to remain opposed was the prose. I can't say that I reviewed all of it, but the parts I did read didn't seem FA-ready to me. Getting this copy-edited by multiple outside reviewers is the best thing you can do to improve its chances next time; in fact, I recommend getting any subsequent FACs copy-edited beforehand. Once all that is done, let me know and I'll take a look at it too. One note about the references: DVDs and TV shows can be cited if the websites aren't reliable enough and you can't find printed sources. That wouldn't help lower the number of primary sources, though. Giants2008 (17-14) 03:38, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

FYI

[1] the rule is that one person can only revert three times in 24 hours. You said 2 reverts per page which is wrong. So I was just letting you know, and sorry to hear about Lockdown! iMatthew (talk) 18:35, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah what Matt said, I know what I'm doing, three is the limit and I am aware, thanks anyway :)--SRX 22:56, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

RE:Welcome

Thanks mate. Glad to be around to help and bring what I can to the table. I'm really glad that there's an active project on the topic, myself, because it was wrestling that got me out of my extended hiatus and back to active editing. One of the big reasons I took the hiatus was that I was working alone on unimportant projects. Wrestling is so much better, there's an active WikiProject and lots to do, real collaborations, it's good stuff. Glad to be here :) Cheers, DoomsDay 19:18, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

NWA/TNA Championship

Hey,

Honestly, the discussion on this seems a little too lengthly which is why I'm writing this as just an aside. What about two tables, one for official TNA World Champions, and another for Former NWA Champions Recognized by TNA. You could throw up an asterisk stating they are not TNA World Champions but are recognized in TNA World Title History. Just an idea.  Hazardous Matt  21:33, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

No Mercy 2003

I was gonna let the log of wrestling GAs clear out a bit first. You think it's alright to go ahead and nominate it? Cheers, DoomsDay 19:16, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Ah, I gotcha. I'll put it up later tonight. I'd be putting more work on Vengeance 2003 too, but I've cut a wicked cut on my thumb and it's making it really annoying to type more than a few sentences at a time.  :-P Thanks for letting me know about No Mercy. Hello. Seen that you have been active on that page. What exactly is going on there at the present? Why has it been gutted out like that? I tried reinstating people, but was called a "vandal" for it? Was there a discussion? 41.245.185.54 (talk) 13:41, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Re:Question

I removed it because I have lost my motivation and strive to do anything for PW anymore, too much drama, the project itself is tearing apart, there are practically only 10 users actively there, and I just don't feel like having to go through that for BB'03.--SRX 19:43, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

I'm not leaving or anything, I'm not following other editor's footsteps by just deserting the project, but I just will take it down a notch at PW, maybe it will come back to normal in the future.--SRX 20:22, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
You're really have a lot of confidence about TNA :) Right now, nothing really. Just reviewing FLC's and converting the championship list tables.--SRX 21:00, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Well that's awesome, problem is that when you write an article and take it straight to GA, there will be prose problems more than likely, PR's always help :)--SRX 21:24, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Seeing your comments at the straw poll, do you really want to take the TNA roster to FL?--SRX 18:16, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Can you give me the link please?--SRX 03:58, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, it's just an IP reverting good faith edits in bad faith. One more revert, I will get it protected. + I fixed the first table for you to explain what I meant.SRX 04:28, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
That size is good for those 3 little rows, now if you add other rows like Matt proposed for the WWE one, then you should increase it. Your content should be sortable, but seeing how you use info that expands for 2 columns, it can't work. What I recommend is if the ring name is the same as the real name, you should make the ring name say "Same as real name."--SRX 04:56, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

TNA Against All Odds 2005

Sure, go for it. After I finish up with Unforgiven here I'll give the rest of Against All Odds a shot, I can fill in the background, event, and aftermath sections (tons of sources out there). Cheers, DoomsDay 16:15, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I usually use PWTorch and Wrestleview in conjunction, and Canoe Wrestling for the event itself. Usually I go off SummerSlam 2003 as a base, since it's an FA and all. Cheers, DoomsDay 18:29, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Alrighty, I'll work on the background and aftermath. I'll go for double sourcing PWTorch and Wrestleview (a la SummerSlam 03). Cheers, DoomsDay 18:39, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Sounds good. I'd love for it to be a future FA as well, can't hurt to aim high. Aim for the moon, you're bound to land among the stars, right? Cheers, DoomsDay 18:59, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Wow. Best of luck there, mate. The featured topic is a good idea though. I might give that a shot for the 2008 WWE stuff. So you're gonna get all the PPVs to FA or GA, and write a summary article? What all is gonna be in the summary article? This would be a good set up for the 2008 WWE PPVs, really every year's PPVs for both companies. Cheers, DoomsDay 19:26, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Sounds good. Unforgiven 2008 is all done and hopefully a soon to be GA. So when you're all set with Against All Odds I'll go ahead and fill in the rest of it. Cheers, DoomsDay 00:08, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Alright. I'll finish up what's left then, you take a last look at it, and we'll make this article. We could probably send it off for GA straightaway if we make it good enough in the sandbox, you think? Cheers, DoomsDay 00:53, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
It looks good, nothing I see that shouldn't be GA quality. One thing I caught in the intro was the word "you", which generally ought be avoided. Most of what I've seen otherwise looks good, and when the whole thing is filled in and copyedited, I don't see any reason why it should be a GA candidate. Cheers, DoomsDay 01:12, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
I see what you mean, but usually I try to explain at least one or two of the moves they used before the finisher, just so there's some idea of what had gone on during the match instead of just how it ended. For a preliminary contest like that, I think 5 or 6 lines of text is usually a good indicator. Cheers, DoomsDay 01:23, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Gotcha, I won't be mad at you, do whatever you think is best for the article to get to GA or FA. Cheers, DoomsDay 02:03, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Just wanted to drop a thanks for the fixes on No Mercy. Anything to get it closer to GA :) Cheers, DoomsDay 20:27, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Anytime you have time, I'd be grateful for a good copyedit of it. Thanks a lot. Cheers, DoomsDay 20:39, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
It already redirects to Robert Roode - do you think that's good enough? Or should we delete the redirect outright? Cheers, DoomsDay 23:22, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
I deleted it, and will continue to do so until they're notable enough. Let me know if the page comes up again under a different name (I have this one on my watchlist). Cheers, DoomsDay 23:53, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

RE:

No, those appear to be self-published headlines. WP:RS states that self-published sources are not reliable. That aside, those links would do nothing to verify notability anyways. --The Guy complain edits 22:05, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

"Self published? Their by the company themselves. In which they state it is partnership between themselves and the band."
Exactly; the organization themselves published those new articles, thus deeming them unreliable, as per WP:RS.
"The video may not be notable but the song being used for the company's November pay-per-view is."
Says who? I know the song is notable to the event, but why is the event notable to the song? WP:N says a third-party source must prove such notability.
"If the song was used in a movie it would be placed in there."
Only if it was proven notable to the song by the points I provided above.
"This is a live event that lasts for three hours boardcasted all over the world. That screams notability to me.
I don't care if that screams notability to you, and neither does WP:N.
"The sources are reliable, the sources are verifiable."
Being self-published, WP:RS and WP:V say that they are not. --The Guy complain edits 22:21, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
"Fine, but to me it is notable."
I believe your screen name may have been some indication of that.
"The company released this info and Disturbed has even stated that TNA is using the song."
That would still qualify as self-published. We cannot cite those types of sources.
"I don't see anything more reliable than the company holding the event."
The company holding the event, and then a third-party sources writing about it would be more reliable by Wikipedia's standard. Anything written about the company, by the company, or someone affiliated with the company, is not reliable.
"And anything published by Disturbed would be self published as well."
I am well-aware of this. --The Guy complain edits 22:48, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Rising Above 2008

1) The poster for Bound for Glory (2007) just says “Bound for Glory” while the poster put out by Ring of Honor for this years Rising Above says “Rising Above 2008”.

2) "October 27th: If you haven’t heard already, ROH legend Samoa Joe returns for one night only on Saturday, November 22nd in Chicago Ridge, IL. Joe will be part of the non-PPV portion of the Event." – ROH Newswire for October 27. I’m pretty sure the “standards” are that if a match on a ppv isn’t aired on tv, it’s a dark match. Turning Point

I bought the PPV last night so I may be able to help towards the article. Though I'm kind of sorry I spent money on it.  Hazardous Matt  13:36, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Wow. I can actually answer that. Bonus. Anyway, it was "seeding" (seating?) for the X-Division championship. It would establish the top 10 contendors for the X-Division championship, where the first eliminated would be ranked #10, the second #9, etc. It was fought under what was announced to be "Lucha Libre" rules, wherein a wrestler was replaced if he was thrown to the floor, but he was not eliminated. It eventually devolved into a free-for-all. Looked like Doug Williams jumped the gun a few times.  Hazardous Matt  20:09, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm not sure if it was basic, though. It just broke down and nothing really got straightened out. But it's probably less of a headache to say "basic". :)  Hazardous Matt  20:18, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
The winners of the big matches were predictable given the long-term storyline, but the finishes were pretty lackluster and downright beyond belief for Joe v. Nash. The X-Division match and Angle v. Abyss was pretty good. I found it to be "Meh" but I guess that's because I saw the endings coming a mile away from a storyline perspective.  Hazardous Matt  21:24, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
I agree, it did make them look strong. And this is what the New Blood vs. Millionaires Club or the InVasion could have been if everyone had let it run it's proper course rather than jump the gun. It seems like this has been building for the better part of a year now and it's great. I'm just bitter about the use of cheap roll-up finishes. And I do think Daniels is set to come back as a "mystery partner" soon.  Hazardous Matt  21:43, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I liked the fewer gimmick matches. I tend not to buy TNA PPVs when it's packed with those. I don't know about Sting. Cage is the Mafia now but he doesn't have to like it, so maybe he'll demand a title shot and get kicked out, like Sting and the Horsemen.  Hazardous Matt  22:38, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

FYI I made an edit to your Turning Point Sandbox. I think the wording for the X-division match is more accurate now.  Hazardous Matt  22:34, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I was wondering if it was a work. TNA has made stupid mistakes like that before (pushing Shanon Moore and Rikishi, without contracts), so I wasn't certain. I do remember they did this with Abyss around the 2-3 year mark. I hope he sticks around. He left WWE before because he wasn't happy. Oh well, more room for new blood.  Hazardous Matt  22:45, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Lockdown

Sure, I'll take a look at it right now and let you know when I'm done. --Nehrams2020 (talk) 07:06, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Ok, I went through and made assorted changes. Please review each one carefully as I may have altered the storyline (I don't know wrestling at all) for interfered with the guidelines for wrestling articles. Here are a few suggestions/questions I have about the article:
  1. If you can, expand the third paragraph in the lead a bit more, it looks out of place in comparison to the other two.
  2. I changed "The match, however, never took place as Angle sustained a legitimate injury and was replaced by Kaz, who escaped from a giant red steel structure called The TerrorDome; which also occurred at Sacrifice; to take his place in the match; Joe was victorious in the match even with the addition of Kaz to retain the championship." to this: "The match, however, never took place as Angle sustained a legitimate injury and was replaced by Kaz, who at Sacrifice, escaped from a giant red steel structure called The TerrorDome. To take his place in the match, Joe was victorious in the match even with the addition of Kaz to retain the championship." However, the second sentence doesn't make sense, so please rewrite it knowing what you know about the event.
  3. I removed the italics around the "The Voodoo Drop" and the "Muscle Buster" since when I viewed their respective articles they were not italicized there. If that is not common practice, feel free to revert.
  4. "Storm then climbed down into the cage and hit Morgan over the head with a beer bottle..." Did Storm get the beer bottle from the drop-down ceiling or elsewhere? This should be mentioned as the reader may get confused.
  5. I tagged the main image to be reduced in size (for WP:FILMS, our non-free movie posters should only have one of its dimensions no bigger than 300px). This image is currently at 362 × 604. You can either do it yourself or somebody will reduce it soon.
  6. If you can, I'd recommend uploading a new version of Image:Christian20061020.jpg at Wikimedia Commons to fix the red eye. Not really a necessity for the article, but it would look better.

If WikiProject Professional wrestling has an A-class review process, I'd recommend going through that before heading to FAC. If not, try to get a few more people to take a look at it. By the way, just out of curiosity, how did you find me to look at your article? Anyway, good work on the article so far, I can see you put a lot of work into it. If you need further assistance let me know and I'll be happy to help. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 08:17, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Looks good so far, best wishes as you advance to the next level. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 06:27, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
I'll take a look at it when I have a time, I'm tied up with things at FLC, my peer review for OTE, and the peer review for WM XXIV, and stuff in real life, I'll try by the end of the night or tomorrow.--SRX 22:16, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
It looks much better, but if the WrestleView sources remaining are being used to source obvious material or material already sourced, then can be removed as well. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 22:59, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
A review is fine, but if it's something as simple as preceded/succeeded, it can fall under common knowledge and doesn't have to be cited. For example, you don't have to cite that the video game Halo 3 comes after Halo 2 unless you're being very anal about sourcing. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 03:24, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
I promise to take a look at it tomorrow. Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but I too have been busy in real life lately, in addition to my usual Wikipedia work. I'll try to do some work on the prose while I'm there. Giants2008 (17-14) 00:23, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
I'm going to leave comments on the article talk page, but for now I went through the early part of the article and made some changes myself. You'll be happy to know that I think itt has improved since the first FAC. The background still seems overlong to me, so I would support removing the feud details from the last match. One thing I was going to point out was a redundancy in the James' storyline, but if that's removed it doesn't matter. As I indicated before, watch the article's talk page for further input; I plan on reading the rest later tonight. Cheers. Giants2008 (17-14) 00:44, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
My comments are at Talk:Lockdown (2008). One thing before I go: FAC reviews usually take more than a week; two weeks is a more typical time frame. Giants2008 (17-14) 05:03, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Re:Slam

I think it might be better as a separate section between the event and aftermath sections. I know it isn't exactly the same situation, but look at Over the Edge (1999) for an example. Nikki311 19:54, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Read this: Overlinking and underlinking. They really care about that at FAC! —Mattisse (Talk) 00:18, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

I removed the italics, as I saw it was not in italics at other places. The link I sent you basically says wikilink as little as possible. Only wikilink once to any given word. Do not wikilink common words that an English speaking person would know, not even countries that most people know. —Mattisse (Talk) 00:32, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Ah, I didn't see Hardy Justice at the top, I just saw the others at the bottom. Well, I've been waiting for the Hardy Boyz to get reviewed, so I can get my Good Topic, and me and Blue Blue and I are working on the Miz and Morrison, so we can get their individual articles, and their team article to GA. Then we plan on nominating them as a Good Topic. Apart from that, loads of little small edits, just cleaning up articles and stuff like that. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:24, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
I hope it passes too! Yea, I'd like that. ;) I know, I tend to work alone as well, but I get on so well with Blue that it makes it a lot easier. Dude, it must be close to 4a.m. where you are. Maybe you should sleep... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:45, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Does insomnia run in your family? LOL. You all crazy in the US. Nah, I know what you mean. School's not as great as you think! I should be there now, but *shrugs*. I got a dentist appointment this afternoon, so I didn't feel like a halk-hour drive to school for like 2 hours, and then a half-hour drive back, so I took a day off!! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:55, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
I think you mean caffeine is bad! ;) I suppose I can see where you're coming from, but I personally can't stand school. I go to school in a different town than were I live, (although there are 3 schools in my town) so I don't get to see my best friends in school. It's kind of annoying to say the least. Now is that football football, or American football? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 09:06, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
*cough rip-off of rugby cough* Em, because my mum's a snob. :) The school I go to has a really good reputation - it's really small (60 people per year by 6 years) but there's a massive waiting list. You have to put your kids name down while you're still pregnant with the kid. It is a really good school, excellent teachers mostly and pretty good facilities, so it's really popular and in demand. It's got one of the highest application rates per actual spaces outside of private schools. It's crazy, but anyway, I got in so there wasn't really much of a discussion. It was just like, this school'll take you, off you go! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 09:16, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Sport pretty similar to American football, but invented earlier. Played by most of Europe, parts of Africa, and Australia and New Zealand. Sounds like it doesn't it? I suppose it's not too bad, I just really hate the whole leaving house at 7am and returning at 5pm thing (6pm if I do the after-school study class). *sigh* oh, well, what you gonnna do 'bout it? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 09:31, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Will, I know you know what rugby is. I was re-iterating the point that American football is a rip-off of it. And how on earth are you going to be my servant? Are you planning to move to Ireland soon? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 09:41, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Yea, but that's life. You gotta take the rough with the smooth, the good with the bad, and all those other really annoying sayings! I'd hope you would tell me. ;) Besides if you get lost in the middle of nowhere over here, you're probably about a mile from someone's house. It's really not that a big a country! ;) Anyway, Will, GO TO BED! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 09:53, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Dude, no way you just said that. Ok, it might be slightly true, we do have a lot in common, but us Irish are the ones who are the alcoholics! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:46, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Oh, yea I do like a Scottish accent. Though, for future reference, it was recently voted that an Irish accent is the sexiest in the world. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:32, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
LOL. Well, I don't mind American accents, except Californian ones. Know a guy from California, and his accent drives me mad for some reason. My favourite's a Spanish/Mexican/Latino one though. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:38, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

<-- LOL. I believe my dad's side of the family is originally Russian, while my Mum's is either Scottish or British. I hate French - I do it as a subject in school, and I think it's a horrible language. Excessively complicated. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 21:01, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, that's true. Plus it sounds really nice, if it's spoken correctly. ;) Which I can't do. I'm gonna be honest. I don't really like the name Jack. I much prefer William. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 13:57, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Re:Hey

I'm doing OK I guess. You caught me sick, which is why I'm able to reply. I've missed two days, and I miss my third tomorrow from this illness. However, in the grand scheme of things I'm doing pretty good. All of my needs are met, and downsizing has been minimal. All I've really had to give up is eating out 3 nights a week (not counting the extra time lost, but that's worth it...). Everything is going as well as I had hoped. I even started with paid sick time, which is frickin' awesome. Cheers, The Hybrid 08:28, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

RE: Hey

Wow. Out of all the people that I've met through the years on the Wiki you're the first and only to ask after all this time. Ha! Yeah I've been pretty busy. My varsity football team made it to CIF Playoffs this year and we're playing our first round game this Friday. I've also been VERY busy with my wrestling training... yeah... And it seems I'm not the only one to come from my school. Jesse's school has an amazing facility at the American Sports University in San Bernardino. I'm planning on taking some MMA on the side to synchronize it with the wrestling too. So yeah I've been busy. So busy in fact that its pretty much forced me into Wiki retirement. What about you bro? What have you and the Wiki been up to? --UnquestionableTruth-- 07:11, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

RE: Time for a new section

Sounds like you've got a lot going on here. I don't own a copy of Against All Odds 2005, but I'm sure it being an older PPV you should be able to find a cheap copy on the internet. Youtube may even have clips of it. My two GAN articles are getting up on the list, No Mercy is up first and Unforgiven is a few more down. I'm working with Matt on the Great American Bash 2008, and I'm looking to go for Backlash 2008 next. I noticed a lot of the Backlashes are GAs, so I figured might as well consider the tradition with the 2008 event. Probably keep on working on the rest of the 2008 PPV stuff, and potentially look into a featured topic like we talked about before. Hope you get all your work done, if there's something more I can help with let me know. Cheers, DoomsDay 20:17, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

I'll see about doing a bit more on Against All Odds if I hit a groove on tomorrow night. Any time you can give No Mercy a look over, it'd be much appreciated. I'm hoping it'll get a review soon, as it's like fourth or fifth on the list if I remember rightly. Cheers, DoomsDay 20:27, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

In response to your recent inquiry, I did not write or source any of the article's wrestling-related information. Much of the article was written and edited by Juggalobrink. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 23:33, 20 November 2008 (UTC))
