Peer Review[edit]

Hi Sterling,

I figure you are still editing your page, so some of these thoughts may already be on your to-do list. Once you finish your article, the opening overview paragraph won't need to have citations within beyond the life dates. One question I had when reading the biography section was what is the difference between the chief medicine man and just a medicine man for the Lakota entailed? Is there a difference in the duties or just the fact that it is for one tribe vs the whole Sioux? Maybe even list the different groups of the Sioux to illustrate how big they were. I liked the description of what his wife's name meant! Is there a story to his name as well? Also, in the bio it says that he may have been married to Hollow Horn and then later says he was for sure married. I figure that would be caught when you finish your edits! I think an interesting addition would be to describe/name some of the rituals he drew if that information is available for the public. Perhaps some of the contemporary artists that were influenced by Black Hawk have their own Wikipedia page you could hyperlink to. Otherwise, I think the article is on the right track!
