@Dan arndt: Well the page is already in mainspace so this AfC is moot. Firstly, I admit that this draft is below par and will not be accepted even if Elmina plane crash doesn't exists. However, I disagree with your rejecting criteria as "report of a single event" and "Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#NEWS and Wikipedia:Notability (people)#People notable for only one event ". Most, if not all, articles about air crashes are based off a single event and sometimes, a notable person is amongst the unfortunate.   • A discussion at WP:VPP about revision deletion and oversight for dead names found that [s]ysops can choose to use revdel if, in their view, it's the right tool for this situation, and they need not default to oversight. But oversight could well be right where there's a particularly high risk to the person. Use your judgment.

Hello, Minorax,

I came across this photo which, to my untrained eye, looks like it has been enhanced or even has been altered using software like Photoshop. But I don't know whether or not these tools disallow a photo from being used on the project. It's a photo of a painting and I just think some filters or editing software were used before it was uploaded. You work a lot with images so I thought you could tell me if you are seeing what I'm seeing and what Wikipedia's policy was. If the photo was enhanced before it was uploaded, I see no way we can alter it back to its original condition. Thanks for any help you can provide. Liz Read! Talk! 18:23, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

I believe that in general, PD images can be edited and uploaded as long as there isn't any intent to use it for vandalism purposes. From what I see in the previous versions, this image has been edited prior to the image being captured. However, I believe that this can be edited to make it a little more natural, you just need to find someone who is skillful in image editing. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 11:14, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
