Another speedy deletion request reversal?

Could you take a look at this article which has a speedy deletion request: Lucca Brazzi.

I noticed that you reversed a similar speedy deletion request made by the same anonymous poster. See here. StudyAndBeWise 00:46, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How ?

How do you get "Leebo" bolded and "86" red and superscripted ? If there are other features like that please tell me ! Thanks *~TusharN~* 08:01, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I figured it out, it is in the sidebar not the top bar.

I do own these photos, I took then.

photo upload

Ok, so the upload was successful, but the page has not been updated. Does it have to be approved first. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bmtpromo (talkcontribs) 18:41, 9 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

photo upload continued

I just uploaded it and it still not there.I thought I did that already. Since you know my intent, can you please fix it for me instead of me blathering through it as I am?

All I want to do is add the photo and the quote I wrote under it to go with the Los Angeles listing.

OK, Leebo, you've tried speedy and that didn't work. And really, prod is for non-controversial deletions, so that obviously isn't going to work either because it can (and most likely will) be contested. I am going to remove the prod, but you might like to take it to AfD instead. Would you like a hand with that? Bubba hötep 20:33, 12 February 2007 (UTC) Replied on my talk page. herlping you find the needle in the haystack, my main point

Since many points were raised in the schiavo-link dispute, it might be hard for you to see the gem, so I wanted to highlight that point in advance of you looking for a needle in a haystack:

If the arguments for verifiablilty and reliability are used as you suggest, then why don't we remove ALL those Terri's Fight and Terri's Blog links and any link to something that is not, say, the NY Times? We see LOTS of links to blogs and smaller web-papers on wikipedia, and we don't remove all them. (Or, should we?)

Can you see where I'm going? If you want to critique the links to my paper, then you should critique those links even more, and you can see there are lots of them; Also, as I stated, I am not a "Jonny 1 Note" paper, publishing on just the Schiavo matter, so my paper is indeed credible as a news source. I feel that I am more credible than those blogs being used (and they're not bad links; Both pro-life AND pro-euthanasia blogs are routinely used as opinion links, and rightly so, I think.)

My main beef with "the process," as you call it is this: The only reason MY newspaper is under the microscope is because I'm an editor here at wikipedia, and people don't want to take the time to look at other links. But if you are really fair, you will see that my paper, while not as "credible" as, say, thr NY Times, stands on equal -or higher -ground than many other links used as sources, and thus lesser treatment is merely a convolution and perversion of wilipedia policy, whichis to say "unfair, or bitter" editing by those who edit to attack. Now, if you can't find any other links that are as "small" as my paper, then you have a good case to reject "my" paper as too small, too unreliable, not credible, etc. See, I could be wrong.--GordonWatts 22:49, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have asked for a deletion review of Wii Health. I guess my view of consensus is different than others. I don't feel that consensus was actually reached, though a supermajority was reached. Partially because we were still discussing the issue when the AfD was closed. I'm not insistent that the Wii article be presented, I'm merely asking that the discussion come to it's full course. That consensus be reached. McKay 19:02, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

glad I could help. Also note that I just made a rather large comment to the end of the discussion on the DRV. McKay 19:08, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, to me most of them are useful, because the school has several names of which it could be given (Aquinas College, Aquinas, AC, Reds etc.) and it can be classified under Salter Point (suburb its in), Perth (city its in), west aus (state its in), mount henry (land it owns) - so they are all plausable redirects.Smbarnzy 09:07, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello You can delete my page right now. I guess I don't have enough stature yet, as well as material. In the future though I might create an improved page that meets Wikipedia's guidlines for page creation in music. Sorry spelling changes to the words organisation and realise, I'm used to American English. I looked up the WP:SPELLING, but it really did not say one way or the other so if you want to change them back go right ahead. I would suggest that someone get rid of character sub-sections. It made the Table of Contents huge and it would better follow the guildlines of WP:Anime. Normally I would have done it, but that article editors sure like using the internal links. It would have felt wrong for a outsider to change it considering the they even left internal comments such as: <!-- Please do not add any parenthetical additions, such as (deceased), in headings. They are nightmarish when trying to create internal links. --> (Duane543 04:07, 26 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Well, that makes more sense. That's not really an unexpected response from an AfD article's creator. However, Zanimum is an administrator; it was a response that I was surprised to see from an administrator on an AfD discussion. Leebo86 16:31, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, his having authored the page helps explain his Afd response. But the fact that he is an admin makes it all the more surprising that he even created the article -- let alone justified it the way he did -- in the first place. I may have gone a little overboard with him, but that section of that article has been hit by vandals repeatedly in the past making comments very similar to the ones he was making, so that really irked me...plus repeatedly posting his comments, even after I edited them out with reasoning, didn't help my mood either. I also suspected that he was the IP address (192.197.71.189) who had made virtually the exact same comments the day before which I had reverted. This was not meant as a personal attack, I don't know how to add a source as refrence for the story, this was an international news story. Perhaps if the editors merely helped edit the articles instead of accusing me of personal attacks it would be a bit easier to get a concise article written. Your Inquiries Re: D. Mikels

I'm afraid you've lost me. What "sources" are you wanting to authenticate book sales? I do know the author can go to his publisher's site and monitor book sales (and perhaps you can contact Xlibris and they'll share sales info with you), but I have no access to this account, nor do I think the author would allow anyone else to be privy to that information.

As to "sources" for reviews, there are blurbs of newspaper reviews on the book product pages at Amazon. I do know the Sunday Oklahoman has a review coming out soon for the author's latest novel; would a link to that, when it appears, suit your dubious notability?

Speaking of reviews, please take a look at the reviews for Mr. Mikels's novels. These are 5-star reviews from top reviewers, from all over the country. The author has a considerable "fan base," as many of the same reviewers have bought (and reviewed) all three of his novels.

As to the other self-published authors who have articles here, no thanks, I am not about to tell you who they are. I don't think either Mikels nor the other authors would appreciate your re-examination of their notability.

Even though I tease you...

I seriously think you're a teriffic editor. I also think that you'd make a great admin, if you should ever decide to seek the mop. It's probably a wee bit premature, given the incredibly hostile climate at RFA as of late, but let me know if you would like to be nominated and/or receive admin coaching. At the end of the month you'll have been registered here for 3 months, and I imagine you'll hit the 2k edit mark--though you'll probably still get a number of oppose !votes because that's not considered enough. Anyway, keep up the good work. -- Merope 23:14, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Merope. I appreciate the compliment because I feel that you're an excellent admin. I have thought about adminship, but I'm going to wait. Like you said, it's difficult for new editors, but I don't mind taking my time. There are some more milestones I'd like to meet before I have a whole new slew of responsibilities, like writing a good article or better. It's something I'll keep in mind though :) Leebo86 23:44, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Baseless accusations continue

Hi, Leebo. Perhaps you could take a look at Shelby Young's talk page again. 69.132.198.252 is making baseless accusations, this time regarding me. Perhaps it's time for a block of this user. I don't want to tell you how to do your job, and God knows I wouldn't want it, but something must be done. Also, would it be feasible to bring the matter of the Shelby Young credit to arbitration? It seems we have a rogue editor (who speaks English enough to wikiharass a teenager, then reverts to "comic" broken English, which I find to be racist). I myself have seen her voice-over credit on the sites mentioned, other than IMDB, and it seems other editors corroborate this. I would like to put the matter of the credit to bed and have something done with 69.132.198.252. He's wikiharassed a teenager and has, as you've noted, violated WP:AGF, makes no worthwhile contribution to Wikipedia and it's just getting vulgar and out-of-hand.

Cheers

imdb.com

imdb.com is all user submittions but they are very strict finding the truth, try adding some role for any actor and see how long is to be on website. They check out more theng then any other website, imdb.com is most reliable website for actors and acting resume.

I do not know what problem you are with me, ISpy is not greek, according to his own email to me, he is just another american who mad i am editing "his" actresses wikipedia pages. His first post to me was abrupt rude and very demean to me, perhaps you are overlook that right?

Maybe you go see again.

69.132.198.252 03:54, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On the contrary, IMDB is very faulty when it comes to information. It is all user submissions. I will submit that they are, at times, good with sussing out false information. I can think of one instance, Alexis Stodghill, whose father bought an IMDB for her. It was removed, by IMDB, for lack of notable credits. I also seem to recall a similar incident here, where a page was made for Ms. Stodghill, a very little known actress.
Resumes, bio information, even pictures (supposedly sent in by actor's reps) have proven to be false and are not checked by IMDB themselves, rather the users. IMDB is a glorified fansite, whose members often submit faulty information. An actress may be listed as being born on May 20th, when her birthday is really May 26th. It could take months before the truth will out and the changes are made.
Secondly, I never said I was Greek, I said I speak Greek.

(How about you call Leebo and he can verify you speak greek right?) 69.132.198.252

If you'd take the time to read the posts I make, 69.132.198.252, instead of harrassing a teenager (God only knows why you're doing this), you'd see that. I have never emailed this user, nor do I wish to. This is not "my" actress, nor is it his. I only wish to help stem the rising tide of vandalism, brought on by this user and others. I don't know why 69.132.198.252 has fixated on Ms. Young, and I don't care to speculate.

(Because i wont go away like you wish me to because i am editing verifiable.) 69.132.198.252 17:47, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Leebo, you have seen my post to 69.132.198.252. I ask you, does it sound abrupt, rude or demeaning? Bearing in mind his first post to me (in the history of my talk page now) where he out of the blue openly attacked me, as if he knew me, making me suspect him as a sockpuppet of at least two other users. Doing a Google search crops up SEVERAL sites (including cinema.com and youngstarnews) that list her involvement.

Hello? Why did you delete my article? The Edison Ogre and Peanut Butter Jokes are important topics. Why should they be less important than your anime crap? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Firedup1963 (talkcontribs) 06:58, 12 March 2007

Ok first of all why? How do you know for sure that there isnt an edison Ogre?
I met him, thats for one...
Secondly, let me ask you this. How do the admins stay so fuckin on top of things? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Firedup1963 (talkcontribs) 02:45, 13 March 2007

imdb.com

because edit war happen and then mysterious "shelby young" appear on wikipedia right to collaborate with only person i edit war with. "Shelby" admit her name not in final credit in movie, there for, is not listed on imdb.com, not listed on wikipedia, is nothing personal. that picture she tooken is a very well know picture of her, when you open it in notepad top line say Adobe Photoshop, mean it was photoshopped, there is clear black line next to her face where they make a notebook. I just say, lets edit war on tom cruise page, maybe he show up too right?

wikipedia is not a "resume" service, is for only listing roles that have been acknowledged by studio for actor to be in, mean, she is not listed as voice for that role, so it not belong on her wikipedia page.

You want talk personal attack, look first note ever ISpy leave for me.
