This place used to be a sex store with attendant tattoo shops and similar. Only recently did it attempt to rebrand itself as "Uranus". In fact, there's still a billboard across the road "Pornography Pollutes" directed at the establishment. MarchHare (talk) 19:29, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There is a lot of misinformation in this talk post. The billboard is a play on words, owned by one of the store's owner. Selling sex in Missouri is illegal, so there has never been a "sex store" in the town of Uranus. That does not make sense.Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View tutorial I am currently working on Wikipedia articles of interest and significance, located within driving distance of my home in Rolla, Missouri. I have found the residents and industry in Uranus to be fascinating. Currently, I am waiting to purchase a better camera to photo document unique and culturally significant artifacts located in Uranus, curated by its odd and wealthy residents.Amsauerwein (talk) 19:15, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Historically, the place has been host to several incarnations of signs advertising its wares.
Google Maps has a July 2012 image of a sign at 14400 US Rt 66 with "Exotic Dancers" "Big Louie's "Adult Store" and "Chicken Bones".
By January 2016 it had been replaced by signs for tattoos, guns, archery and the "Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store".
By November 2021 the main sign was for the Uranus Fudge Factory with smaller roadside signs including mentions of Butts, Nuts and "The best fudge comes from Uranus".
