Untitled[edit]

This page is *FULL* of missionary propaganda aimed at proselytizing Jews to Christianity. I have removed a few links to the Jews for Jesus website, and some highly dishonest internal links (such as turning the word "messianic" into hypertext linking not to the wikipedia page for Messiah, but to the subsection "messiah" of the Messianic Judaism, i.e. Jews for Jesus, wiki page). I left up some of the footnotes linking to things like christian manuals for proselytizing Jews.

I do not yet have the time to properly clean this garbage up, but someone should get around to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.46.207.111 (talk) 17:30, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Kiss the Son"[edit]

This habit is not limited to English-speaking protestants. "Küsst den Sohn" occurs in Luther's Bible translation, and the Dutch Statenbijbel also has "Kust den Zoon". It's very likely that Luther started the tradition of interpreting the word "bar" as being Aramaic. Steinbach (talk) 23:10, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
