Which emperor[edit]

In an English article about Pope John VI we read:

During his reign, he assisted the Exarch Theophylactos, who had been sent to Italy by the emperor Justinian II, and prevented him from using violence against the Romans. John VI's interventions prevented Theophylactos from being injured, having come to Rome to "cause trouble for the pontiff".[1]

I think, that emperor was not Justinian II, but Tiberius III (II) Apsimar, who reigned under the name of Tiberius until deposed by Justinian II in 705 and executed in February 706. Justinian II "the Slit-nosed" governed (once more) from August 705 – December 711. Pope John VI however died 11 January 705.[2]--Stebunik (talk) 20:17, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
