Inline dispute re: Using preseason stats as official stats[edit]
NHL preseason stats don't count towards official career stats. As a result, a player's official "first NHL goal" and/or "first NHL game" cannot take place during a preseason or any other exhibition game. His first official NHL game was Oct.12 against the Edmonton Oilers, and his first official NHL goal was Oct. 18 versus the Buffalo Sabres. 208.118.96.146 (talk) 17:29, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
