Greece[edit]

Greece needs to be on this list. Corinth was/is in Greece. Paul founded the church of Corinth and Corinthians I and II are named after the city and it's people. (Unsigned comment)

What is the includion criteria? Roman is mentioned plenty of times but not Italy. Various places in Turkey are mentioned but not the modern state of Turkey. Paul went to Arabia but not necessarily Saudi Arabia. Events happened across the Jordan (sounds like Trans-Jordan). Ur, where Abraham came from, is in Iraq. Looking at pages like List of animals in the Bible and List of names mentioned in the Quran it seems that the very word should appear for it to be listed. Mmitchell10 (talk) 20:15, 9 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ophir[edit]

Ophir's location is not accepted. More archeological evidence is needed before an authoritative claim can be made. Teddyg3892 (talk) 04:57, 2 December 2020 (UTC) (talk) 04:48, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've added a few more, but I imagine there are many more missing.---Ehrenkater (talk) 18:22, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
