This article describes Tillich, Bonhoeffer and Bultmann as "seemingly opposed theologians" - why were they "seemingly opposed"? Vorbee (talk) 07:57, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bonhoeffer criticised both in his "Letters and Papers from Prison." From my understanding Bonhoeffer's view was that Bultmann didn't have a high enough view of Scripture and Tillich was too liberal (as opposed to neo-Orthodox). I don't know much of Tillich and Bultmann's view of each other, but Tillich at least had a very radically distinct theology while Bultmann seems more traditionally liberal. 2601:249:1880:3AE0:ED6B:4F5C:1CDE:F709 (talk) 23:34, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
