Zeydabad (Persian: زيدآباد, also Romanized as Zeydābād, Zaidābād, and Zeid Abad)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Zeydabad District of Sirjan County, Kerman province, Iran,[4] and also serves as the administrative center for Zeydabad Rural District.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 5,314 in 1,283 households, when it was in the Central District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 5,260 people in 1,402 households,[7] by which time two rural districts had been separated from the district in the establishment of Zeydabad District.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,112 people in 2,335 households, by which time the city had been transferred to the district.[2]
