Mahmudabad-e Seyyed Rural District (Persian: دهستان محمودآباد سيد) is in Zeydabad District of Sirjan County, Kerman province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Mahmudabad-e Seyyed.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 7,923 in 1,936 households.[5] There were 10,165 inhabitants in 2,655 households at the following census of 2011,[6] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Zeydabad District.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,708 in 3,560 households. The most populous of its 37 villages was Mahmudabad-e Seyyed, with 4,622 people.[2]
