Budweiser Clydesdale Stagecoach[edit]

What purpose do the Buckets at the sides of the Budweiser Clydesdale Stagecoach serve? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.89.12.240 (talk) 04:50, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What buckets? I've looked at several pictures, and I don't see any buckets. Looie496 (talk) 05:17, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think the OP is referring to the buckets that you can barely see here and here. As for their purpose, I would have to guess at them being for watering the horses. Dismas|(talk) 05:21, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Budweiser Clydesdales murdered?[edit]

I remember my father mentioning several times that a maniac killed a BW Clydesdale team. But I don't see this in the article, or find it on the web. Can anyone suggest what I am recalling? μηδείς (talk) 01:22, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, the term "murder" doesn't apply to animals. However, given the weirdness of such a story, one would think there would be something about it on the internet. Have you tried contactig the Busch company? It could be worth a try. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:37, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Remind me not to let you dogsit for me. μηδείς (talk) 02:21, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lolz... you two... Shadowjams (talk) 06:42, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand his comment, unless he's afraid I would feed horsemeat to his dog. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 06:49, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Do I really need to play hall monitor here? He's insinuating, playfully, that you don't consider killing a horse important... you're making an overly technical misinterpretation of his use of the term murder. MOVE ALONG. Shadowjams (talk) 06:59, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for explaining. Sorry if I was too dense to get the joke. I am by no means in favor of the gratuitous killing of animals. However, killing animals is not murder. Only homicide can be murder. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 09:39, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, no, I wasn't joking. μηδείς (talk) 16:21, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the point, then. Whatever. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:50, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sure you're not thinking of the plot of Equus ? StuRat (talk) 02:25, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Were the perps caught? Falstaff mercenaries, perhaps? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:52, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have been unable to find any other news item at all on the murder of the horses. Although there is this which mentions a fatal shooting by a family member that same year. μηδείς (talk) 20:49, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
