Name of this Musician[edit]

Alright, I distinctly remember this one musician, sort of an IDM sort of guy, did all sorts of really crazy aggro stuff, and all of his album covers had pictures of weird dolls dressed up as nurses or with injuries or stuff like that. Sorry for the vagueness, Anybody able to point me in the right direction?

Intelligent Dance Music. The man who does these album covers is almost certainly Trevor Brown but none of the artists he has worked with could be described as IDM exactly. You may be thinking of William Bennett aka Whitehouse, whose music is power electronics and could well be described as "crazy aggro stuff". Brown has done several album covers for Whitehouse, an example can be seen here (link NSFW). Or the artist may be Romain Slocombe (on whom we don't have an article, it seems). He did a cover illustration for a compilation curated by Bennett, which can be seen here (link NSFW). Brown does the weird dolls but they don't tend to be dressed up as nurses, nor do they tend to have injuries. What makes you think it's a meme? It looks to me as though someone has though someone has just made a silly picture and put it next to the King Crimson album cover in a misguided attempt at "humour". Might have been an episode with Wendy O'Williams as the Musical guest I think the lyrics went like this: too violent for detox
