Music played in THE GAP[edit]

Hello!! I was in the GAP yesterday, and I heard this great song that was like a mixture of R&B and had kind of a rock feel and it sounded like a remix. I really wish I could remember some of the lyrics, but I'm at a complete loss - I walked into the store about halfway through the song. That description is probably too vague for anyone here to help you. Why don't you go back to the store and ask what it was? They will have ready-made mix CDs sent to them by head office, so it shouldn't be too hard for them to track down the song. Movie identification[edit]

In 2004, I watched two sets of discs containing a Korean movie translated into Chinese. The film begins by introducing two female classmates who are opposite in almost every respect; one lives in poverty, is unattractive, has poor relationships with her abusive widowed mother and brother, lacks courtesy, and is disrespectful. The other is a respectful girl with a luxurious life. It is eventually revealed that the students were not raised by their biological parents, but by each other's biological parents, an error having taken place at the hospital where the children were born. Learning this, the impoverished girl demands that her actual wealthy parents care for her. This request is met, and formerly-fortunate child ultimately accepts her melancholy future. However, the affluent couple emigrate to the United States without informing the girl they raised, and contact between the two families is lost.

The family in the U.S. returns to Korea when its children become adults. The parents meet the woman they cared for and offer to adopt her, but she instead dates their son, whom she previously considered her brother. The act is arduously opposed and the two characters become fugitives to continue their near-incestuous relationship. For a reason I don't remember, the engagement ends as rapidly as it was initiated.

I either forgot the ending of the movie or didn't watch it. My questions are: (1) What is the title of the movie? I'm sure the film was translated into English because I know a Canadian who watched an English version. (2) Is the film well-known or popular? Thanks, that's the movie! I asked whether it's well-known because I was not touched by the movie, which was primarily intended to be depressing. Where to find "Paradise Hotel 1/2" ??[edit]

My sister has put me on the arduous task of searching the net and finding the tv-program "Paradise hotel" and "Paradise hotel 2" in its wholeness (that is including every episode...) I Have had no luck in finding anywhere to download anything, or even order it for her..

As far as I can tell, it was never released on DVD. MyNetworkTV seems to be running season 2 right now, so if you have access to that network, recording from there might be an option. There might be torrents out there somewhere, but you'd have to find somewhere to search for them, and of course deal personally with your feelings about copyright infringement. --LarryMac | Talk 17:35, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you use usenet, you could go to alt.binaries.multimedia.reality-tv. Giganews may still have the whole second season up; I can only see the last half of it on Easynews (I assume the rest has scrolled off the server). You could also ask for a repost there, I guess. To expand on this a little, Bond's been using the Walther P99 since Tomorrow Never Dies, and it's currently his signature weapon. I guess using a 70-year old gun just isn't in keeping with the image of the super-modern agent. (I would imagine that there's a product placement deal of some kind with Walther; Bond movies pretty much pioneered that practice, and of course the connection between Bond and the weapon is by now a staple of Bond fiction.) -- Captain Disdain (talk) 01:18, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
