- Hi Sander, I saw that you removed my input of Estonia's Doing Business rank on the Economy of Estonia page and contacted me, regarding it as spam. It may appear as such, but I am simply imputing the new economic indicator into the appropriate economy infoboxes, of which there are many. I have discussed adding the Doing Business Rank on the appropriate template: infobox economy talk page and with an editor helping me learn how to implement it. I hope this clears up what I am doing and if you don't approve of the indicator, I hope you will join the discussion on the talk page. - I am sorry if it wasn't spam - I must say both URL and website looked like spam to me. I will restore the link, however, I would try to get a bit more support to the new indicator - perhaps you should see if WikiProject Economics and/or WikiProject Business have more input? --Sander Säde 18:18, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- No problem, I assumed making a significant contribution would engender some concern (both from editors seeing category-wide changes and from political interests not approving of their rankings). I have already brought up the proposal on the Wikiprojects: Economics talk page, which includes a brief description and a link to the appropriate template: infobox economy talk page for discussion. However, contributions there are very slow, so after making the proposal and link to discussion clear, I figured that I should be bold, and that doing so would help prompt debate either for or against the new economic indicator.
- I appreciate you taking time to get back to me about the subject and I am grateful that you agree it does not constitute spam, despite being numerous similar contributions (comparability is a requirement for infobox indicators, therefore adding one or several country's rankings is not informative or appropriate). I would appreciate it if you would remove or make clear that you retract the spam warning, as it still looks suggestive that I have done some wrong, but I think it would be inappropriate for me to change it. Thanks again for clearing this up and I appreciate you being watchful.

- While all the material was appropriately cited, it was also clearly copied from the source which means it was still a copyright violation. The source is clearly marked "©2011 The World Bank Group, All Rights Reserved", but even without that we cannot accept copied material except when in the public domain or under a free license as outlined above, or in brief quotes. - VernoWhitney, thank you for the clarification regarding the copyright issue. I believe that all World Bank material is public domain, but honestly I can't find anywhere that precisely says so on their website. As such, I have rewritten the page, using my language and only shorter, cited quotes from the WBL page.
