Córdoba

Here's to a fresh new 2014! I've started Template:Córdoba, Andalusia, you might want to shift it around a bit and apply to the articles. I might not have all of the historic centre entries right!♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:21, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Cool! Pick an article of your choice in Wikipedia:Good article nominations and click start review and save. Let me know what you pick. The bot will notify the article writer automatically.Next it's best to structure your points by section with a ; Lead etc . Read the article through carefully. What I do is have the review open on one tab and the article on the other and post comments as I read through it. Any awkward phrasing or unfamiliar words, sentences needing a source, basic MOS/grammar, info needing to be elaborated upon etc. Generally as you did with the auditing but not just on the sourcing! Once the article writer has addressed your points, copy the GA checklist, see any of the articles I've reviewed and state something like Seems to meet the criteria for a Good Article, good job! Once you reach that stage let me know and I'll show you how to update the article talk page, adidng the article to the GA list you'd probably know already LOL. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:15, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Rosiestep, thank you so incredibly much for selecting Wappocomo for Good Article review! Please let me know as you have questions or concerns and I'll address them accordingly in a timely manner! -- Caponer (talk) 20:30, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Good choice! I'll watch over the review over the next few days. I prefer to get all points out the way first then simply copy the GA checklist at the bottom as I pass it. I find it irritating when reviewers dark mark the table first thing and bloat it out with comments so avoid that!♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:48, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Next step

Follow what I've done in these stages [1], [2] [3] (obviously find the appropriate page and section to place Wappocomo in), [4] (although the bot will eventually add it but I prefer adding it myself.♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:59, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

GAR: Wappocomo

I see that you're going to do Wappocomo (Romney, West Virginia) for your first GA review. Excellent choice! I'm a very new GA reviewer myself, and my second review (out of 2 1/2 so far) was Virginia Argus and Hampshire Advertiser, also by User:Caponer. I was somewhat apprehensive about reviewing another editor's work, but he went out of his way to make the process go smoothly. He was very much open to suggestions on improving the article, and put in a lot of work doing additional research to settle questions that I had about the subject. If your experience working with him is anything like mine was, you'll enjoy it.

Caponer's asked that I look over a couple of his other articles, including Wappocomo, and make any tweaks that I think are indicated. Would this interfere with your GA review? If it won't mess up your planned review schedule, let me know; I'll try to get my editing on the article done within 24 hours or so, so that I won't be making changes while you're trying to review. Thanks, and good luck with the reviewing -- Ammodramus (talk) 20:49, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Rosiestep, for your situational awareness, I wanted to let you know that I'm working on an article for the neighboring Valley View plantation (also owned by the Parsons family). I'm still early in the writing process for this article, so a review is not necessary, but some of its historical background overlaps with that of Wappocomo, and I felt it may assist you and Ammodramus as you review the Wappocomo article. Thanks again! -- Caponer (talk) 19:19, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

  • Rosiestep, thank you for your thorough and thoughtful edits. I've made most of the changes except for the last one regarding its geography. I should be able to finish that this evening. Given yours and Dr. Blofeld's experience in writing articles on various geographical locations around the world, I may have additional questions for you. Please see my comments here. The Parsons family is a very friendly and involved family in the Romney community and I wish there was a way to convey that, especially with the chequered history outlined earlier in the article. I'd like to include as much information as I can about Chuck Parsons, but I would like to first seek your guidance on which information from the obituary is encyclopedic and relevant to the article. Since we've touched on the achievements of his ancestors, it's only fitting that we touch on his achievements and activities, too. Thanks again! -- Caponer (talk) 00:13, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Also, is there any other content from the article for Colonel Isaac Parsons that should be included in the Wappocomo article? -- Caponer (talk) 00:15, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Rosiestep, I've incorporated all your suggestions and I've built and further cleaned up the Geography section. Please feel free to look over the current version and provide further comment on the GA nomination page. Thank you again for your contributions to this article! -- Caponer (talk) 16:27, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Rosiestep, Dr. Blofeld, and Ammodramus: may I humbly seek your thoughts/suggestions on a possible DYK hook for this article? There's so much content, I find myself drawing a blank after making the final edits. Since it is not a 5x expansion, it will only be eligible following the completion of its passing. Thanks again for all your extraordinary efforts in getting this up to Good article status! -- Caponer (talk) 17:31, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Rosiestep, congratulations on a nice thorough job of your first GA review. Hope that your future reviews go equally well, and that your future nominators are equally helpful! Ammodramus (talk) 18:24, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Rosiestep, thank you for your thorough review of Wappocomo (Romney, West Virginia). On account of your efforts, this article now exceeds the criteria for Good Article status. It has been a great privilege working with you throughout this process. Job well done! -- Caponer (talk) 17:51, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Very cool! And appreciated. Thanks @Caponer. --Rosiestep (talk) 17:57, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

You or Ian might find more on Hylda Queally.♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:19, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Queally has such lovely eyes and hair, very Celtic looking. Her eyes are like orangutan colour LOL. Cate Blanchett said she has the best eyes and legs in the business or something!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:37, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

Felicity Plantation maybe interest you. Check out this too, might be some missing!♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:32, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

Fond memories of Duporth Holiday Village, went there on a school holiday 2 years running at the age of 10-11! It was like the first time ever away from my parents and at that age it really is an awesome feeling!! Sadly can't find much in google books, I really dislike the title though, Duporth will do, can you move back? You might be something for an article on Duporth House and Duporth Bay!.♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:07, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Gracias. Kinda of like Rita Hayworth in Affair in Trinidad !♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:24, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

You interested in Argentine actors? Funny, I'd been meaning to return to expanding and start some new old Argentine movie articles, it was one of my first projects on wikipedia. When I started Spanish wiki had only something like 32 articles on its films, now it has passed us with almost 1700! Any of the old film lists by country are worth going through and stubbing missing films and actors. xxx is an Italian actor. He appeared in films such as xxx under director xxx in 1928.[ref] A few could be created by film using the same source like that if it lists the cast.... ♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:32, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Oh yeah definitely, not to mention that most on here are still pretty empty and haven't had content added to them yet! I copied the lists from Spanish wiki by year a while back. Might be time to go through the years and try to fill out the content! I always found it fun stubbing films and actors and thought it was a good way to address systematic bias covering old Argentine movies!.♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:54, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Brazilian and Portuguese cinema is one that strikes me as particularly undeveloped. I might start building up the Brazilian film lists and try to improve the coverage of that too. The best way is probably by director, create a director template and red link the missing films and stub them, but I've always found it fun to work by year.♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:05, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Part of the fun was looking in http://www.acceder.gov.ar/ (scroll down to the bottom and buscar) and searching for films like Un centavo de mujer and uploading the stills which can often be found. Fortunately photos older than 20 years are PD in Argentina and they can be uploaded to the commons. You can find them in the acceder base and not even on google search! The film posters can often be vibrant too but I don't think we can claim PD on those even though they probably are as the license does say works of art. If you're looking for a consistent source http://www.cinenacional.com/ Cinenacional is the official site I think. Fortunately it has a digit based source system which can simply be switched when starting a new film.♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:35, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Yeah by director I think is the best way. I've created Template:Román Viñoly Barreto. Can you help flesh some of them out with cast/crew. On imdb if you click full cast and crew you can scroll down and access the music, cinematographer, editor etc. I've uploaded a few film posters, they're so cute have a look! I love the Todo navidad Christmas one especially! Amazing, when i started working on them in 2006-7 barely any of the film posters could be accessible online or you'd find a super poor quality 20 px tiny one only! I've literally seen Argentine film come online more since then! If every film can have the director and cast and one source bare minimum like Estrellita that'll go a long way I think. I think though the standard is all in lower casing except the first word and some have capital on the second words which looks a bit unsightly, should the be moved back do you think? ♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:34, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Any interest in doing an interview?

Hi Rosiestep. I'm a PhD student at the University of Washington's Information School, and I'm working on a interview-based study about women and Wikipedia. I have RCom approval, and you can find my project page here. I'd love to chat with you if you've time. You can reach me via my user page, or drop me an email using the address listed on my project page. Either way, thanks for your work here and your comments on your user page re: women and Wikipedia! --Mssemantics (talk) 23:15, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

Hey Rosiestep! I hope all is well! I wanted to touch base with you to see if when you had a free moment, you could review my recently completed article for Valley View (Romney, West Virginia). Since you were already familiar with Wappocomo nearby, and conducted such a thoughtful review of that article, I thought you may offer some wonderful suggestions for me on this current article. Thanks again! -- Caponer (talk) 01:40, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Sure, Caponer, will be glad to do so over the weekend. --Rosiestep (talk) 04:08, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

John Preston Searle

I was very happy to see an article pop up today for the Rev'd Dr Searle. Do you mind if I asked you what interested you in him? Since it's an obscure corner of church history, I tend to notice when another editor happens this way. ;) I recently started an article on Samuel Merrill Woodbridge which I took up to FA status, and New Brunswick Theological Seminary is finishing up a GA review. Several of the sources at the Woodbridge article (several linked in the references section) may be of help as you expand the Searle article. If you're continuing to writing articles on NBTS or Rutgers people, and need anything, feel free to ask. I am pretty knowledgeable with sources regarding those two schools (as well as Union Theological, Princeton Theological, Drew, and Princeton). Many thanks for doing your part in introducing the Rev'd Dr. Searle to the world. --ColonelHenry (talk) 04:19, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for your kind words at my talk page re. the Valley View GA kerfuffle. I hope that your other GA reviews have gone, and in the future go, more smoothly. Looking forward to future encounters—Ammodramus (talk) 19:13, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

Eyeing up Mogadishu. Expand the lead, merge admin into geography in prose, add a bit to economy, add a landmarks section I think it'll be close to GA. The sources though are putting me off...♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:44, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

You might be interested in adding to Achvarasdal [5].♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:31, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Category:Buildings and structures in Italy by province now in place, I've just been adding the inter links which took a while. Scary, most on italian wiki are sub catted by comune and often again Churches by comune!! What would be good now is to start building some sort of organization by country by province like Category:Buildings and structures in Spain by province, Category:Buildings and structures in France by department and one cat to link like Category:Buildings and structures by second-level division by country . Ah it exists see Category:Buildings and structures by country subdivision, we might aim to add new countries to it anyway!♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:39, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

As a gradual thing we could create ones like Category:Buildings and structures in Algeria by province and if there's some which are low try to stub a few as we go along. In the long term I think it would be very valuable to do this for each country and it'll show the areas which need more work.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:49, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

LOL am I allowed though, not being female!A pity I didn't know about it earlier, I've run out of energy for the moment! There's quite a few Portuguese and Brazilian singers which are missing if you're interested. I'll try to help out later!♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:53, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

How to link a page

How do I link a page to one that has a different title? Example, in the 'Princess fleet' there's a ship known as the 'Motor Princess' and it was renamed the 'Pender Queen.' This name is in the 'Retired BC Ferries Fleet.' So I want to link 'Pender Queen' to the 'Motor Princess.'

Thanks for the help. I did some exploring and figured it out. Renaming a page however, I will save for some other time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anifan1 (talkcontribs) 03:31, 16 February 2014 (UTC)

Checking in...

Checking in to see whats new with you. Recently I've been somewhat active in biography articles. I added the category "Deaths from vasculitis" after the death of Harold Ramis and I found several others on Wikipedia who have died from that disease. There were cats for many other autoimmune disorder deaths, but not that one. I also did some house keeping on the Miriam Schlein page, and was able to remove the "orphan" and "unreferenced" templates, but I still want to go back and make the article longer after I do some more research. So whats new with you? I hope you are doing well... Juneau Mike (talk) 16:57, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for your comments and feedback on my Talk Page. I didn't realize there was a lack of good biography articles on women. Perhaps you could work on the Miriam Schlein article with me. I cleaned it up some, but its still a stub and lacks a lot of good information that I know is out there. Someone who wrote nearly 100 children's books deserves to have a full and complete biography on Wikipedia. I'll watch your progress and help too. :) Juneau Mike (talk) 15:47, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Saw your recent edits on the Schlein page. I was wondering if you had seen this page, related to your edits: Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. I already Wikilinked it on the Miriam Schlein page, just thought the page would interest you. Looks like a fascinating place that I would love to see one day! Mark Tobey

I think it could use some further beefing up before you nom. Google book coverage doesn't seem to be great but there are sources such as this which have some valuable quotes. Publisher doesn't seem great of that book, but there's definitely good content in it which matters. Christian themes It might be worth seeing if you can get hold of some of the books on him from the library as they don't seem available at least where I am , might be dfifferent in the US!. It's a bit sparse on the sourcing, last paragraph of early, middle of mid career, style doesn't quite seem as developed as I think it could be. Awards aren't in order and might be best put into the prose. Convert old digits to words for dates. Lead could also use some reinforcement and it could use a further reading section for people wanting books etc.. Bibliography and page notes look in good shape though, I'd guess that's a recent doing. I don't think it's quite ready, but if you can beef it up a bit and ensure it's all well sourced it might be adequate for GA. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:19, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

The first 3 or 4 books in google books look useful and might be worth adding to a further reading section, probably best just to recreate it yourself.♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:26, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Ok, Dr. B, will do, and thx! Fresh eyes always helps. --Rosiestep (talk) 18:31, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for another contribution Victuallers (talk) 08:01, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

I really appreciate all the great work you have been doing on the dancers, including all the new biographies -- particularly those on Cuba. Unfortunately, as far as I can see the DYKs have not yet triggered much participation from others. I see you have been trying to encourage more involvement of female editors on Wikipedia. I would have thought this would be an attractive area for them but I have no idea how to reach them.--Ipigott (talk) 10:13, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

@Ipigott Thanks for that. Personally, it's empowering to work on these biographies. And you're right, we need others to get other involved while tick-tock-tick-tock March moves on. --Rosiestep (talk) 15:34, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

@Ipigott @Victuallers @Gerda Arendt @Phoebe @SarahStierch @Mssemantics Please take a look at the changes I just made at Wikipedia:WikiWomen's History Month. I also made way for the 2014 Outcomes page at Wikipedia:WikiWomen's History Month/Outcomes. Let's start populating it with our contributions, and get the word out to others. As the project page has a higher viewership than our talkpages, it should motivate additional participation. --Rosiestep (talk) 15:34, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

This is an excellent idea. Thanks for all the updating work you have been doing. I hope somehow we can get more people to look at this page. I also see Sarah started this a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I did not notice at the time. As a result, lots of the new articles on photographers and architects were not included. I see there is also a huge batch of ladies in the DYK noms for International Women's Day. I suppose they could already be included in the new articles.--Ipigott (talk) 06:26, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

@Ipigott - You're right, that huge batch should be included in the new articles list. I noticed that the various Events pages have their own Outcomes section such as Wikipedia:GLAM/University_of_California_Davis_Libraries/March_4#Outcomes; I'm wondering if those articles should be added to the project's Outcomes page? --Rosiestep (talk) 15:21, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Maybe you could simply inform them of what's on the Women's History Month Outcomes? Unless you want to create a lot more work for yourself! I see, btw, that Dr. B has been having a rough time again.--15:35, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Ipigott (talk)

Let's see how it goes. Others might start adding to the Outcomes page now that it's a bit more visible. At the end of the month, we can sort out what still needs to be added. A shame about the rough time. --Rosiestep (talk) 15:43, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Hello Rosiestep,

I heard from Miss Bono by email the other day, and told her about your recent note on her talk page. She said to thank you for thinking of her and for writing about Cuban dancers. Unfortunately, she does not now have access to an internet connection that would allow her to edit Wikipedia. I saw your articles in DYK, and want to congratulate you. Well done. I don't know if this subject interests you, but I threw a life line to the KLOS C article. (I recently joined the Wikiproject Israel because it is a subject that I love, and which fascinates me. How that is relevant will be explained when you read the article.) The KLOS C article was initially a bit of a mini mess, exactly one sentence, no cats and nominated for speedy deletion. I've got it up to stub quality, built a Talk Page there, etc. Thought you might want to view it at the very least, but collaborating with you is always a pleasure too. Thanks! @Dr. Blofeld: A bunch of us, including Ian, have been working on women's bio and I didn't notice that he had stopped editing. Hope everything is ok. I'll take a look at Virginia; love the redlinks; these writers might interest you: Caroline von Briest, Babette von Bülow, Charlotte von Kalb. --Rosiestep (talk) 03:23, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Unlike you to respond on your talk page, but then again I didn't a while back either but does make most sense!! A bit tied right now with Oscar winning films and owners :-] Keep up the great work you've been doing!♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:28, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks amigo. I've noticed the "respond where the thread started" trend with so many users, that I figured I would give it a go and see if it works for me. --Rosiestep (talk) 14:22, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Reds

Thanks, Rosiestep. Reds was interesting to watch again as I read the Bryant biographies and noted how the movie presents and to some extent distorts reality. The movie is streamable on Netflix. If you're interested in other Greenwich Village notables of the time (roughly 1910 to 1920), Christine Stansell has a terrific book, American Moderns, about this group and what happened to them. I hope to see you there, Rosiestep! By the way, Miss Bono has improved email access so I am hearing from her more often lately. Unfortunately, her internet access is pretty much non-existent at the moment, so she is rarely able to edit Wikipedia now. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:00, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Wilfride Piollet article creation

hello ! I just thought I would post here my answer to your message on my talk page as I am not sure wheither you saw or not. I am still not very familiar with all the wikipedia sections and different places. Here you are, posted on 9th march.

"Yes I am still interested in publishing the Wilfride Piollet article. Yes !!! I would highly appreciate your help ! Thank you very much for offering to give a hand. I am not too sure of how to fix the " Comment: No independent, third-party references to confirm or establish the claims of notability" on the page "articles for creation". Here is the link, as I don't know wheither you can see it or not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Wilfride_Piollet I didn't hear about the Women's History month, but it would be very appropriate indeed !! :) What shall I do for you to create the article ?"

Thank you very much again !

Hello, thank you very much for creating the article ! Wow, it's impressive when it goes live for the first time.

I deleted Wilfride's husband picture, as I am planning on creating a wiki page on him as well. (next stage...)

I think I finally understood what wiki means by "inline citations". I realised what you did and how you insert them, after having added the text I had. Does it mean all the information in every paragraph has to be backed up by online resources? In this case it is going to take some time to reference all the material sentance by sentance. I think the French version of her article confused me. When I clicked on "edit" there was not that many inline citations in the text, so I just assumed it was the way to do it.

I added several website addresses as external links, where everything I wrote can be found, but often in French. I don't know why they appear as numbers and not like yours. Should they rather be in "further reading" or "see also" sections ? They are as well several interviews of them online. Shall this appear also in external links?

I hope my questions are making sense and I am sorry if I sound like a complete fool, I am just a very beginner trying to find her way around referencing! Thank you very much for your precious help !

GA review has been done. If you have time can you address a few points, I'll try to address the remainder then tomorrow! Ha, imagine you had the letters for Trimethylenetetrathiafulvalenedithiolate in Scrabble! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:22, 18 March 2014 (UTC)

I addressed several of the points. The ones left are the ones I wasn't sure about. Trimethylenetetrathiafulvalenedithiolate is a great Scrabble word, but probably no way it could ever be done!! --Rosiestep (talk) 03:01, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

Much appreciated. Miss you posting on my user page hehe!♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:30, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

Do you think we should cover sport in Culture of the Cook Islands and agricultural practices too? I think we probably should have a section on both.♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:33, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

OK, cool! I'm having a quiet few days on here so do what you can and I'll continue when you've finished. I believe we did audit that article even if not copyedit it..♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:18, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks from me too. You've been doing great work on the dancers. If you want to continue, there's also Hélène Bouchet and Dominique Khalfouni. Bon dimanche!--Ipigott (talk) 07:27, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
Quick work on these two. If you are still in the mood, there's Bernice Coppieters and Kirsty Martin. But don't feel under an obligation.--Ipigott (talk) 21:58, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

@Ipigott: I think we have a good rhythm on the dancer articles, Ian. Thanks for creating so many of them, and making it easy for me to expand them. I will work on the new ones tomorrow. As time permits, I also want to create articles before the month is over on these Paris Opera Ballet stars and notables -- perhaps they might interest you. --Rosiestep (talk) 03:13, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

As a Benois prize-winnner, Guérin was on my list for today anyway. Of course I'll help with the others too. I indend to continue with the dancers until the end of the month. I may then write an article on "Women in dance" before moving back to my Danish assignments.--Ipigott (talk) 06:44, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
@Ipigott: You have been prolific. With thanks. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:29, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
Thanks - but so have you, not just on the dancers but on all the other contributions you have made in connection with Women's History Month. As for the Paris Opera girls, I have very much appreciated your more "personalized" additions and the corresponding hooks. Just two more to go now and then I'll have to try to work on the red links Dr. B has added to Uruguay. Some day we should also try to cover all the stars of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky troupes too.--Ipigott (talk) 06:25, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

Brotherhood Bridge

Curious for your thoughts on creating an article about the Brotherhood Bridge here in Juneau. It is listed as historic, meaning the State of Alaska has to try to find a buyer for the old bridge. A curious side note is that next to the current bridge there are rebar remains from the first bridge. You already created one article about a Juneau bridge, the Juneau-Douglas Bridge, so would love to hear your thoughts on this. Here is an article about it... http://www.ktoo.org/2012/09/25/brotherhood-bridge-for-sale/ Juneau Mike (talk) 04:28, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi. I modified the byline, because what makes it so interesting is not that the origin is unknown (that's true for most things out there), but that it even exists: it wasn't thought possible. — kwami (talk) 03:23, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Dancers

You might like to expand Sonia Destre Lie. She seems to be an interesting player but I'm not really into street dance and hip hop! I've also tried to put together something on Laura Martínez as she was red-linked on the list but I have not been able to find much in the way of biographical info despite lots of current news stories.--Ipigott (talk) 12:31, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

I moved Sonia Destre Lie to Sonia Destri Lie as there were no ghits with the former spelling but a lot with the latter, including the article's references. I think it's a solid article as is. I added a bit to the Laura article but couldn't find much more. --Rosiestep (talk) 16:59, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for catching and correcting my sloppy spelling error. I would have liked to include some of the principals from the Mariinsky (e.g. Alina Somova) but there's not much time left. Perhaps I'll manage to squeeze her in tomorrow. Thanks once again for all your help. I think it's been a useful exercise.--Ipigott (talk) 20:49, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

@Ipigott: Yes, it's been a fruitful month for creating and expanding women's biographies, most notably, dancers. If you can suggest a hook for Sonia Destri Lie, I'd be glad to nom it on your behalf. I've run out of steam for tonight. --Rosiestep (talk) 02:20, 31 March 2014 (UTC)

Possible hook for Destri: "...that hip hop choreographer Sonia Destri Lie has recruited dancers from Brazil's favelas, whatever their social backgrounds?" I'll add something to the lead.--Ipigott (talk) 08:57, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
