What do you think about AIs on Wikipedia?[edit]

Hi RevinCBHatol,

Welcome to the Wikipedia community!

Did you know that Artificial Intelligences (AIs) support Wikipedia? I saw your post on Teahouse, and I’m personally contacting a small handful of new Wikipedia editors to make sure your voice is heard as we build and refine these AIs.

Will you please provide an interview to share your thoughts about AI on Wikipedia? It would only take about 30 minutes over phone or video chat. We will send you a $15 Amazon gift card as a way to thank you for your time.

I am working in collaboration with Wikimedia Foundation staff to do this research, so if you decide to participate, your opinion could help build the future of Wikipedia. Hope to talk to you soon!

PS. You can learn more about our study here.

Best, Bowen, aka Bobo.03 (talk) 19:17, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's just normal, but it could be dangerous overtime. RevinCBHatol (talk) 05:22, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the reply, @RevinCBHatol:! Would you mind sharing more of your thoughts about why you think it's dangerous? It would be very helpful to hear from you directly through an interview. Can I connect you with my colleague Estelle, aka FauxNeme, to set up an interview time? Bobo.03 (talk) 16:07, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, anytime. RevinCBHatol (talk) 03:47, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi again, @RevinCBHatol:. Just wanted to check back in about this and see if we can find a time to talk. @Bobo.03: and I would love to hear from you! Best, FauxNeme (talk) 18:00, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

WELCOME[edit]

Welcome to my talk page! I may be new here, but I think you would ask me for mistakes and additions. Let's keep in touch!

An article you recently created, List of Aikatsu Friends! episodes (season 1), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Katipunan ng Kamalayang Kayumanggi, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:26, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, RevinCBHatol. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Katipunan ng Kamalayang Kayumanggi".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Stop icon

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at A2Z (Philippine TV channel). If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. -WayKurat (talk) 11:22, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
