at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of The Office (U.S. TV series) episodes. thanks for taking the time to check the list. I solved most of them. What do you think now? Nergaal (talk) 22:59, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

found them! Nergaal (talk) 23:39, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
you should go read the reply Nergaal (talk) 14:02, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
done with the toilet? then check the new reply. Nergaal (talk) 17:26, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
seriously speaking, check the changes. Nergaal (talk) 19:30, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry, I really don't mind you editing. Long story short: I have spent a ridiculous amount of time (I would have not bothered if I had known it would take so much work) and it has been mostly because of reviewers giving an opinion in a few words and then, after many edits, they either wanted to do something else to the list (rendering my previous edits useless) or others came and asked for the opposite, while in the meantime, not giving a hand at all. In this particular last case, about future episodes I do believe it is nothing more then a community service to go find references for future episodes that might actually change and will become true within a short amount of time (to be more specific, finding a name for an episode that will be released within a few days of little use), especially since the list is transcluded. I would have done it normally, but I stopped enjoying working on this article a long time ago (due to reviewers) so I just want to get it done. Anyways, again, thanks for the help! awards tables

Many, many thanks. And as you had presumed, I just copied and pasted off the U2 awards list, so my experience with tables is pretty darn limited in that regard. Thanks again. Pandacomics (talk) 20:28, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Did you look at the latest version or just an old diff? Gary King (talk) 18:43, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I've reviewed your DYK submission for the article Teatro del Silenzio, and made a comment on it at the submissions page. Please feel free to reply or comment there. Cheers, Olaf Davis | Talk 21:30, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Great, I've approved it for DYK. Thanks. Olaf Davis | Talk 08:00, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

DYK for Teatro del Silenzio

Updated DYK query On 17 October, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Teatro del Silenzio, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Thank you for your contributions! - Cheers, Mailer Diablo 16:55, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the concern you raised here, and for the support. It was promoted. --Efe (talk) 11:15, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Ballon D'Or

I did not add any information. I reverted an edit to the list, which had replaced Frank Lampard.Comme (talk) 12:09, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Actually you put the incorrect information back in again (see diff), the list should have had Frank Lampard in not Anton Alsander (whoever that is). I guess it was just an accident and you thought you were reverting to the correct version, but actually reverted to the wrong one as an IP had fixed it a few minutes before your revert. No worries though, Rambo's Revenge (talk) 13:44, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Good work on getting it GA listed. Had I known about the PR I would have commented. Let me know if you open another one prior to taking it to FAC (if that is your intention), or when you open the FAC nomination page. Matthewedwards (talk contribs  email) 08:19, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Spurs articles.

What exactly are you doing there? Govvy (talk) 10:23, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

What exactly was I doing. I added a reference for the managerial change in the Spurs history article. Then moved the page in accordance with the Wikipedia Manual of Style. I then added in the main article that Alex Inglethorpe is the caretaker manager who will take charge of the match today, before Harry Redknapp officially takes charge as manager. I then changed the years and the scores per Wikipedia MoS and bypassed many redirects in the links at the same time. I don't really see a problem with my edits. Thanks, Rambo's Revenge (talk) 10:33, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Clive Allen is taking charge today, Alex Inglethorpe will help him. Govvy (talk) 10:54, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Actually this reliable source seems to imply they will both be taking charge. There wasn't anything before though, so I don't really understand why you are questioning what you seem to agree was a constructive edit. Anyway we will find out shortly and in the meantime feel free to change it if you wish. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 11:04, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Well it's how it has been before Ramos took charge, Clive Allen took charge and used Alex as his number 2. So by deduction it's the same again. Allen will pick the team as he has been given that responsibility. That much I know is certain. Govvy (talk) 11:12, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

(←) The problem there is working from deduction goes against Wikipedia's original research policy. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 11:44, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Logical deduction? Anyway Harry picked the team in the end, :p Govvy (talk) 19:16, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Re: Bug 16085

Sounds good; thanks for letting me know. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 14:50, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Re: Did you come across too strong?

Nah. But Yobmod did, though. It could take a short while, but once the issues with the timeline of the 2001 Atlantic hurricane season are fixed, I will re-nominate it at FLC. Hopefully Ass 16085 is fixed soon (I know it's a bug, but I'm calling it an ass because of how badly its arrival was timed). It was more of a combination of stress, Yobmod, and the bug that upset me. Hope to see you at the re-nomination, and good luck! --Dylan620 (Homeyadda yadda yaddaOoooohh!) 20:42, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

2001 Timeline mapping

Could you do the same thing that you did to the 1983 timeline image to the 2001 image? I've already added it to Timeline of the 2001 Atlantic hurricane season but I have no clue how to map images. Thanks, Cyclonebiskit (talk) 00:00, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Everything links properly. Thanks! :D Cyclonebiskit (talk) 16:26, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Further explain myself

The reason I put the tables back in is because, by using the linked version, you're limiting the people that can actually edit the page to those who have enough experience on Wikipedia and HTML that the understand where the information really exists. That isn't how Wikipedia is supposed to be run. We aren't supposed to hide things just because it makes it "smaller". The size of the article is based completely on the all the HTML code. As such, it doesn't take any longer to load the page than when you have the linked tables there.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:23, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

I understand your reasons, but still disagree. This could be solved with a simple hidden comment above, about how to edit the transclusion. I haven't reverted the change and have requested comment from Gary, as he advised transclusion at another episode list FLC. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 23:34, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Commenting out everything doesn't make it ok. What exactly is the point of having the LOE page if everything on it is transcluded from other locations? Why not get rid of the needless page?  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:40, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
It wouldn't be commenting out, it would be an additional comment stating that to edit the tables you need to edit the season page. Everything is not transcluded either, the summaries are only on the season pages.
As I stated to Gary, one of the bigger problems (a part from the fact that someone has to travel cross pages just to edit something, which seems ironic given that you don't want people scrolling 3 rows just to find a link to a director's name) is when someone edits one of the season pages and accidentally removes a code that sent the table to the LOE page. I have seen these things happen on pages that used transcluded text (not sure if it's happened on TV related articles before), and if you don't catch it, or don't monitor the other page regularly, it goes unnoticed for quite awhile - usually until an Anon comes by and says "this is missing, but I don't know how to bring it back".  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:50, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
