You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|it is not a Hoax!}} below.

I am neither Israeli nor Jewish and race-baiting is not tolerated. The article, according to a Google search and at least one other editor, was a hoax. Period. Take your hatred elsewhere because it isn't welcome here. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:44, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

it is NOT a Hoax! All I wrote about Umm Rashrash is true,,, and I will tell you what is a hoax: it is written in the page of Iilat that (the location was originally an old Ottoman police station, called Umm Rashrash in Arabic and it was taken without a fight). No mention whatsoever for an Egyptian village which had existed in that place,,I know Egyptian people who were born there, for God sake, but were departed by force after occupation. It is also written: (Because Operation Ovda was the last military operation during the war, the raising at the police station of the hand-drawn Israeli flag on March 10 at 16:00 is considered to have ended the war) while in the truth the war had ended in 1948, when a cease fire agreement was signed between the Egyptians and Isrealians. Umm Rashrash was occupied after the war and during the cease fire agreement, and maybe this is why it was: taken without a fight, as the writer claims. All I have written are simply facts! And if you do not find these info in google search, it does not mean that they are wrong becuase info in internet are simply blocked by people like you! So try to read historical books and then come and accuse me of hatred....

Decline reason:

You say that the information is verifiable, but your article did not cite any specific reliable sources, either in the article or here on your talk page, and the tone of the article you created was not very neutral. If you want to create content that promotes a specific point of view, you will find that easier to do on your own web site. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{unblock|Ok then Fisherqueen you sound more reasonable than the guy who blocked me. Let me tell you that I did not use citation becuase I did not think I need any. I created lots of pages before about historical events with no citations. I do not know why it is different this time. I do not know what you mean by not nuetral, becuase I still insist I wrote only facts. This Umm Rashrash case has been ignored for too long, and obsucered by the Egyptians themseleves becuase thier government fears that bringing that issue would threaten the peace between it and Israel. I hate it when someone tries to hide FACTS ,,,and I hope Wiki would not help in this direction!}}

Wikipedia does require sources for information; it's one of the few really firm rules we have. It's fine if you want to post those sources here on this talk page so that other neutral editors can review them and take them into account as they consider your request for unblock. You messed up the formatting for your unblock request; I'll fix it for you while I'm here. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:19, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My friend, I was not being the least bit unreasonable. Another user tagged it as a hoax. A Google search did not back your claims and you then had the unmitigated gall to come slinging racist and nationalistic accusations on my talk page. No one here is "blocking" information. If your attitude is any indication, the Middle East is a mess because no one can seem to agree on anything without throwing verbal bombs at one another. Listen: I'll unblock the account to give you a chance to come up with something neutral. Nothing nationalistic, no personal opinions, no accusations of trying to hide truth. Fair enough? That's how we do it in the USA and, I daresay, pretty much any country represented on this site in any number. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:24, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • You're all set. It may take a few minutes or so for the system to totlly release the block. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:27, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If I may make a small suggestion, it's perfectly valid to cite Egyptian books. While Wikipedia does not allow original research or first-hand accounts, if you can find a book or newspaper in Egyptian that mentions the events you are talking about above, those are good citations to use. Be civil to others and you will usually find they are civil to you. -moritheilTalk 09:25, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added, because to me it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.
