Image copyright problem with Image:After Flight Handshake.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:After Flight Handshake.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Your article[edit]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. Your userpage is not a personal webpage, blog or myspace-type area. If you are not notable enough to have an article about yourself, your userpage is not the place to write one. I don't fully understand your question. The first thing that needs to be figured out is whether we should have an article about you at all, which the discussion I've linked to above should figure out. In the meantime, this page is people to talk to you. Talk:Brian Szymanski if for discussion of the editing of the article about you. If you were renamed to User:Brian Szymanski, you talkpage for talking with other users would become User talk:Brian Szymanski, but you need to be renamed, not just move your page there. Only bureaucrats can rename users and if you want them to do that, vandalising their userpages (as you did to Secretlondon) is the way to get them to cooperate with you... Welcome, in spite of the current kerfuffle[edit]

Hi, Masterbrian1. Don't get put off by the current difficulties over the article Brian Szymanski. These are the result of some common newcomer mistakes and will get rectified. No big deal. Have a look at the guidelines on conflict of interest, autobiography and the page What Wikipedia is not to get a better sense of what the fuss is about. Have a look, too, at the page on user pages. The links on the welcome message andy left you are also very useful for orienting yourself.

Finally, always remember to sign your posts to talk pages and user talk pages with four tildes like this: ~~~~ . This will automatically add your signature and the date and time to your posts.

Image:G force one 5x7 copy.jpg[edit]

You seem to have two conflicting pieces of information at Image:G force one 5x7 copy.jpg. You wrote that "I own the right to this file and grant wikipedia permission to use this within the masterbrian1 page", and also that is released into the public domain (which allows anyone to reuse it in any context). If the second is correct, the first is irrelevent; if there is some restriction of reuse, the second is incorrect. Please correct or clarify this.
