I'm the admin who blocked you for repeatedly recreating that article. You understand, I hope, that adding nonsense like that to the encyclopedia is counterproductive? I'm curious about this edit, why did you remove the warning? What are your intentions with this account? - CHAIRBOY () 18:14, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

that article is not nonsense, it has been proven that a person i know, RJ Holsten, has created god, has the strength of 4000 men in one arm, is the best, and i forget what the last fact was, but it's all true. I deleted the warning because it was a waste of my time and space. Maddox 18:21, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Knock it off. You may find the Uncyclopedia better suited to your talents if that is the caliber of edit we can expect from you. This is an encyclopedia, not a big ol' graffiti board. Do you have any knowledge that you might be able to contribute to other articles? There's plenty of neat things to do here that don't involve writing junk articles that create work for other folks. - CHAIRBOY () 18:24, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

what is your problem with people creating completely credible articles? If u want i can email you the entire experiment we did to prove all of these, and i can also post it in the article too if needed. Maddox 18:28, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on RJ Holsten, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mytildebang 19:17, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RJ Holsten Article[edit]

Why was this deleted? I gave ample reason for it to stay up. Maddox 00:25, 17 December 2006 (UTC) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Maddox rools (talkcontribs) 00:23, 17 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Wikipedia is not for stuff you just made up. This is an encyclopedia. Perhaps Myspace is the website you're looking for? - CHAIRBOY () 00:30, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This was not made up in school one day. Me and a bunch of other people actually sat down and said, "Is it actually possible that RJ did create God?" when he stated that he had. We then did some tests and confirmed that it was possible that RJ Holsten created God. This wasn't through random facts either, actual things that happened in his life point to him having created God. Maddox 00:34, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

The other policy you may wish to familiarize yourself with is WP:NOR. What you describe is, at best, original research and is completely inappropriate for Wikipedia. - CHAIRBOY () 00:47, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
PS, what would the real Maddox do if he saw what you were writing here? I think he'd be disapointed. - CHAIRBOY () 00:50, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, what makes you so sure that our research hasn't been published? And second, if you've ever read any of Maddox's work then you would know the only thing he'd be upset about is me saying that RJ created God instead of him. Maddox 01:01, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, with respect, it ain't gonna happen. If you disagree, I encourage you to request outside assistance on WP:AN/I. - CHAIRBOY () 01:11, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Microsoft[edit]

Thank you for adding your humor to Wikipedia, but the articles are meant to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Microsoft. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). Maybe you should check out Wikipedia:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense.

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page Microsoft on Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, welcome, and I hope that you will like Wikipedia. --Cyktsui 23:26, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption[edit]

Hi there, Maddox (nice name, Maddox does indeed r00l.) Thanks for writing to me! I'd be delighted to adopt you! As you can see, I'm usually pretty quick to respond to my talk page, so if you have any questions, you want support or just someone to chat with, I'm never too far away in time!

Best wishes, --It's-is-not-a-genitive 23:11, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cool, thx a lot! Maddox 23:16, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

  • You're welcome! I'm sorry that it took the night to respond; some stupid virus kept on stopping me from connecting to the internet. What was the problem with userboxes? Do you want to put them all into one line? If so, then what you have to do is write {{userboxtop|left}}, if you want them on the left, or {{userboxtop|right}} if, you guessed it, you want your userboxes on the right. Then you paste all your userboxes right underneath that, and once you're done, you type {{userboxbottom}}. Here's an example, if you like:

If that's what you were after, I hope that I helped; if not, or if you want any help on anything else, feel free to write me back if & when you want! --It's-is-not-a-genitive 16:09, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey there, Maddox! (By the way, it's probably best if you use that signature button, the one between the W in a crossed-out circle and the line, when you leave a message, so that it produces the time as well as a direct link to your user-page; I don't care about it, but you get these people who are really uptight about it.) I'm ok, I guess, thanks for asking! To-day was a little messed up! I got a call from this friend of mine, and he wanted me to bail some random schmendrick out of prison. What had happened was this guy's parents separated... and his father gave him a credit card 'for emergencies' in the future. This guy maxxed it out within 4 days, buying a motorbike and a bunch of other stuff. Because his father's name's different to his, and since his pa never informed the bank, they assumed that this zhlub had stolen the card. To confound the whole thing, my friend and this guy sent each other a bunch of text-messages pretending to be mafiosi, about dumping people in reservoirs under orders from Slick Luke. I managed to get this guy out, but he has to prove that he wasn't using the card improperly at a later date. Once I got home, I played some poker and just took it easy. Darn, sorry for such a novel there! How's it going with you? --It's-is-not-a-genitive 22:43, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hey there, Maddox! Ah, most of my days are generally quite messed up, but I think that lots of intriguing things happen to everyone each day, whether we notice or not. Ah, you go to school: how much longer are you studying? Do you like it there? What sort of hockey do you play, ice? I played field hockey at school, the less extreme cousin to ice-hockey I suppose, although I once got three of my teeth knocked out with a stick. Don't worry about the time that you respond, it's fine! Best wishes, --Iinag 01:40, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi, Maddox! Wow, fourth-best, that's good going; do you have any plans for afterwards? It's probably really premature (although over here, they start preparing you for job interviews when you're like 10 :|.) I left VI form college (which is the same as the junior and senior year of High school) back in '04; I did a bunch of odd jobs - I ran a community radio station, I acted, I was a French assistant - and I was accepted into Cambridge, where I was meant to be going in '05. However, in the June of that year, I fell profoundly in love with this Canadian, and so I pulled out, and we expected to be running off to some German island together, but she cheated on me, and I never quite been the same since. I might go back to studying, but at the minute, I'm a translator and a musician on the side.

I noticed your comments on the 'Wikipedia was not made up in school one day,' and they made quite a lot of sense. Many things, from most of the songs on Mellow Gold to the seeds of Monty Python, were created in school or college. I for one would be interested in reading your 'does my friend = god' hypothesis; maybe you should put this and other things like it up on your user space (you can create subpages) until the sticklers find your theories 'notable' enough. See you later! --It's-is-not-a-genitive 12:29, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi, Nick! Happy New Year! I hope that your break was nice. I'm sorry about the gap in our correspondance; you wrote to me the day after I left for the mountains, and sadly, I didn't have the internet there! Haha, I suppose that it is sort of odd to be called the name of someone of whom you're a fan... Ah, you're into travelling too :D? I'm not sure what would interest or suit you that could take you all around the world, but there are plenty of professions for those who like to jet-set. I myself never feel more alive than when I'm on the road, and it's wonderful the people that you can meet, the cultures that you can immerse yourself in... although, this summer, I went on a trip around Eastern Europe, and I ended up defending myself for my life on the banks of the Danube against two random skinheads.. not good... I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced that level of hurt too. That ex, well, I was talking to her earlier to-day over the internet, and, randomly, after my having gone on some comedic rant about 'tooth fairy v ballerina,' she said that she wanted to be back with me, and that it was getting difficult to pretend that she didn't like me. That was great news, but I'm left really confused about it all.

Oh no, two of your ribs?? What happened? A subpage is made by putting a internal link link on your userpage just putting / and then the title that you want to give your subpage right after your name, like so: User:Maddox_rools/Whatever. Then you can click on your newly created subpage and fill it with what you will :).
