I see little distinctive usable content--the page is 90% general information about rare diseases in the UK, not about the organization. , and, since it is only a program or sub-organization of Genetic Alliance, and does not seem to be except technically a separate organization-- judging by both the article and its own web site, I am redirecting it to that article. Urgent advice[edit]

The above comment is perfectly correct but ,as reviewing administrator for these articles, I think I need to give you some help in dealing with this. You will understand that as a very prominent web site, it is necessary for us to be very formal about copyright: we must set an example of unquestionably good practice. Therefore, for you permission to be effective, you must actually send the notice to OTRS and say so on the article talk page according to our standard procedure for it to have effect.

But we are also an encyclopedia, and an encyclopedia is different from a public relations site: we provide information about organisations of importance, but we do not act specifically to publicize them. The style of a web site is almost never suitable for an encyclopedia , as it is written to attract support, and giving ways for people to show the support. These articles in considerable part share this problem, so they would need to be considerably rewritten, especially to remove duplication, and also remove general statements about why the concerns of the groups are important.

Though your activities are very deserving of promotion, nonetheless this is not an appropriate purpose for an encyclopedia. You said on one of the talk pagea:

What we can do is help you get a suitable encyclopedic page. I frequently work with this sort of material here, and I'd be glad to do so. But if you'll think about it, a suitable page will be best written by someone without Conflict of Interest; it's not impossible to do it properly with a conflict of interest or as a paid press agent, but it's relatively more difficult: you are automatically thinking in terms of the organization wishes to communicate to the public, but an uninvolved person will think in terms of what the public might wish to know.

Given my concern for assisting you, , and considering the difference in time zones along with the time pressure, what I will do is personally rewrite the articles briefly myself as an ordinary editor here. If you wish to add any further information do so, but do not add minor material about staff or information about specific events: that belongs on your own web site. What is also needed is references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. I notice you have restored text that I removed, another editor quite properly removed it again. Please do not try this again. That's the sort of thing which can easily lead to such a strong feeling that the article cannot be rewritten in a neutral fashion, that it must be deleted. It can also lead to your being blocked from editing as a purely promotional account. I have the ability to do both, and , although I do not block people often, I do when I need to. I have noticed you have again edited the page Mace (store). In editing the page again you have removed relevant references, and written the page like an advert. I have read above you work for a PR agency and it has been previously explained to you that Wikipedia is a knowledge resource, not an advertising medium. I also see you have previously reverted edits on other pages, if you make biased/unreferenced edits they will be removed. If you wish to edit please do so, from an unbiased point of view and using reliable independent references.
