Wuhan[edit]

Hello Lassebeg! I noticed that you were frustrated that your edits have been reverted, but Wikipedia is not used as a current events buletin page. Information about a current event needs to go in a corresponding section, most likely under the "history" section which the information already is in. January 2020[edit]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Wuhan. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Knock it out with edit summaries such as this CaradhrasAiguo (leave language) 23:02, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Attacking?, do you mean adding content on pages? Lassebeg (talk) 23:04, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No, they mean alleging that other editors are Chinese operatives. —C.Fred (talk) 23:05, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at China. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.

You have already been informed why it is inappropriate to add a health warning to this article, the article on Wuhan, or any other similar article. Do not do it again.C.Fred (talk) 23:07, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. Censorship is a very serious matter. Lassebeg (talk) 23:14, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
So is violation of Wikipedia policies. —C.Fred (talk) 23:59, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
