My page is constantly being monitored by dedicated talk page stalkers. Some of them (I probably don't know them all) are The ed17, IceUnshattered, Juliancolton, Nutiketaiel, Sonia, and Little Mountain 5 off the top of my head. Most of the time they lurk in the dark, but some of them might respond to your comments before I do. Don't be alarmed though; they might provide you with better responses than I can.
Email me if the matter is confidential. But please include the word "Wikipedia" in the e-mail title so that I won't inadvertently delete it or have my spam-eater destroy it.

Adoption?[edit]

La Pianista, would you perhaps consider adopting me? I am but a new user, and know not what I do. *sigh* Actually, that's a complete lie. *cheeky grin* I know perfectly well what I'm doing and how to do it. However, I would appreciate some basic tuition. I'm sure there is stuff out there (or here, more like it) that I've still got to learn. And I think you would be the perfect editor to teach me. While you may not be an admin {yet}, and haven't exactly racked up a huge number of edits in the project namespace, you are dedicated and have a sense of humor. Let me elucidate (excuse the pun). By project namespace I mean the Wikipedia namespace, not the article namespace. Not being noobish at all. Your contributions say it all. And as for tuition, I doubt there is much you can teach me about policy, let alone markup. Nice welcome template, if I may say so myself. Personalized, I take it? No, I don't need help in any of these areas. I'm not 100% on some of the obscure policy, but I'd rather not game the system and prefer to simply ignore all rules. However, I'm sure there must be something you can teach me. I just don't know what. I'm not exactly your average newbie, that's all. Perhaps you can think of something? A userbox is a little tag, like a bumper sticker, that you can add to your userpage. My collection can be found at the "Userboxen" link in the navigation ^ up there. There are too many for me to list on my main userpage. :D

But why even attempt at using string instruments to reach upper registries when you know that a piano will always carry the high C for you? Besides - think about it: Pianos - the dark, musty type. I've got a really complex code to do it. You can copy it - just type {{User:La Pianista/s|statusgoeshere}} Magic words are "in" for online, "out" for offline, "busy" for busy, and "sleep" for sleeping. Be careful not to capitalize any of those, or else it'll malfunction.

You don't need to copy the entire code; you can just transclude it. Type two curly brackets around {{User:La Pianista/s|magicwordhere}} anywhere on your userpage, and it will work. ;)

Answer No. 1: Um...no.

Answer No. 2: "Purge status" allows anyone to refresh the page. So, if someone saw your page while it said "offline," for example, then you changed it to "online" while they were reading it, the reader can click purge status and see the changes. You don't have to press it, yourself - it's for the convenience of your userpage visitors.

Answer No. 3: Sure! Would you like it to match your sig, or should it have a design of its own?

That is really odd for us...I think that we have had one, maybe two (three is the max), football teams in the entire history of the the school get past the first round.
