Hi Kat!

The Original Barnstar
Thank you for your recent contribution to Gyrinocheilus aymonieri. Great work on expanding the article! GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 01:52, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Keep up the good work!

Thanks :)

If you have "date= " you don't need year, month or day. Month and day are now deprecated, year still has some obscure function in strange circumstances, although I believe last time I checked it wasn't used for that function anywhere on WP. Rich Farmbrough, 00:17, 13 November 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Science lovers wanted![edit]

Science lovers wanted!
Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! SarahStierch (talk) 03:53, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My name is Rebekah I have a Plecosimus fish. He is 12 years old and he has been living in a 30 gallon tank that I have and I would like to know how long they live. He has seemed to get smaller lately and has stopped cleaning the tank like he used to. Nothing has changed about his care accept I just think he is not doing well. 12 years is a pretty long time for a fish to live in a tank. I also have in there with him a Kisser fish 10 years old, two Silver Dollar fish, 9 yr old and two Platies, 8 yrs old. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.2.32.39 (talk) 07:56, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message[edit]

Hello, KittyKat. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting for page moves[edit]

For future reference, WP:PROD is not the suggested protocol for deleting pages to make way for moves. WP:G6 is generally used if the move is uncontroversial, and will ensure that an admin sees it more quickly. If the move is likely to be controversial, then a request should be made at WP:RM. signed, Rosguill talk 20:03, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
