Are you actually Ms. Jet? If so please let me or the foundation know. If not please request a change of username as our policy forbids the use of names of notable living persons by anyone else. Sorry for the inconvenience; I hope you understand that as much as we don't mind living people editing under their own name, even those we have articles on, we have to be sure it's them (we don't want people pretending to be you anymore than you do; that's what Twitter is for

Thank you for your response and I can confirm that I have read this. Thanks to this document, I now have a much better understand of my relationship with Wikipedia as the subject of a biography of a living person and as such, will ensure that I only contribute to correct any erroneous facts or to present via the talk page, suggestions of possible additions from citable sources.

Hello,

I made some updates to my wikipedia page and also updated a photo today (3 June 2013) and have seen that they have once again been deleted. As I have no idea how I am supposed to prove to either Wikipedia or you, the individual who apparently has editorial control over my own biography, that I am indeed Joanna Jet, I will be taking the following steps.

1) I will cease to use the account "joannajet" and create a new account under the username "Joanna Jet" as this appears to then link my credentials to my presence on Wikipedia. I will then remove my company's copyright mark from the photo and resubmit it.

If this is not the correct approach then please let me know so that I may finally have an opinion on the validity of my own biography.

(talk page stalker) Hi Joanna - this sounds like this is you - one way to make it really indisputable is (a) on your userpage, add something like "I am Joanna Jet, actress, model and director" - and then (b) on your official website somewhere, you could just publish a note saying "I've started to edit wikipedia using the username Joannajet." Secondly, I noted that you added some material, which if you're you, you obviously know to be true, but we can't have that material in the bios, even if it comes from the source - we need to have reliable sources to back it up. So if there are newspaper articles/etc that discuss you and your work, those could be used. You can provide such sources on the talk page and then editors there can help integrate them into the article. I have now added "I am Joanna Jet, actress, model and director" to userpage and if you check the very bottom of http://www.joannajet.com/home.php, you will find the statement you require (I trust I can then remove it?). Furthermore, I have re-uploaded the picture without watermarks or copyright statements. As for obtaining confirmation of my statements, I will see what I can do.

Finally, please remove the link to Shemale Model Index as this site does not contain any accurate information about me and exists solely for the purpose of creating affiliate sales.

For future editors, I have confirmed that as of 3 june 2013, the external homepage for Joanna Jet confirmed this Wikipedia username, so I think that is sufficient to confirm the identity of this username is the same person as Joanna Jet. --Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 17:15, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing for changes to Joanna Jet article[edit]

Hi - one way that you could get some additional biographical information would be to write a detailed bio about yourself and post it on your official website. Then, we could cite that for information. E.g., something like this: "I was born in XXXX in London, England. My first appearance in a film was in X, and I then went on to star in Y, Z, etc. I had surgery in XXXX in order to YYYY."

We can't take *all* material from a bio on your website, - that is considered a WP:PRIMARYSOURCE, but things that we can easily confirm and that don't seem controversial and that don't require interpretation we can put in your bio. On the other hand, if you put "Joanna Jet is one of the best actors in the business", we couldn't add that - but saying "I was born in London", in the absence of other sources claiming the contrary, would be no problem to add to the article. I hope that makes sense.
