Listing of London Southend Airport as a destination

Do you know if London Southend Airport is considered a London airport? An IP continues to insist that Southend Airport is not a London airport (instead written it as Southend-on-the-Sea). Snoozlepet (talk) 21:45, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Technically the IP user is correct it is in Southend-on-the-Sea, In the county of Essex. It is not in London. On the other hand it serves London and the official name is London Southend Airport. Hope this helps --JetBlast (talk) 02:23, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

China Eastern Airlines Flight 586

Whether an article is well written or has sufficient sources, aren't grounds for an article to be deleted. I agree that this article should be deleted, just because it is not noteworthy. Cheers!- William 13:24, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Did you receive my edit summary?

Please check. Thanks you!

Just because i missed that point in the first place doesnt mean you should revert it back see This Policy. Also please remember to sign your posts. --JetBlast (talk) 08:18, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Hello, and thanks for helping out with new page patrolling. It's advised to wait ten minutes, at the least, before tagging A1, A3, and sometimes G2, because it's supposed to avoid WP:BITE; if the article in question qualifies as hoaxes/vandalism (G3), attack (G10), or copyright violations (G12), or other criterion, feel free to tag them immediately. --Bryce (talk | contribs) 04:17, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi, Thanks for letting me know. I didnt notice it was do new, i also didnt know about wp:bite --JetBlast (talk) 04:18, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
No problem. Please continue to patrol new pages, it means something to Wikipedia :) --Bryce (talk | contribs) 04:42, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Is there a way i can see a lift of new articles please? Thanks --JetBlast (talk) 04:43, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

on New Zealand bios

Hello Jet. I've declined your CSD nominations. This is a bit confusing situation, and I'll try to explain why. The articles (created by Stuartyeates (talk · contribs)) do not explain how the people meet the Wikipedia notability requirements. However, if you check the references, you will find out that they are all mentioned in a highly reliable and important source regarding NZ biographies, the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography. I think that Stuart created the articles with the help of this list. Personally, I don't like 'robotic' article creations and I would like to see better articles explaining why is the subject notable for New Zealand history and for Wikipedia. On the other hand, I have to admit that short and well referenced stubs are entirely legitimate for this project. All the articles have potential for further improvements, and that's important for us. Thanks for your understanding, and please don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions. Best. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 11:59, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

ok thanks allot, I understand. Thanks for taking the time to explain this, I appreciate it. --JetBlast (talk) 12:07, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
You did a good job and you are right, the articles do not indicate why the subjects are important or significant (to quote WP:A7). Stuart should create articles with a better care, to prevent confusion. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 12:17, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
I'll review my process so it's clearer why these people are notable. Stuartyeates (talk) 18:12, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

British Airways flight 2157 deletion

Thanks for your message - yes, no hard feelings! I worked really hard on the article to improve it to try and prevent deletion and learnt a lot in the process. Despite the final outcome, I enjoyed the process and gave a good fight to keep it in! I also see by looking around that there are some disruptive editors around and that deletions are needed. I also noted that you are an established contributor who has put a lot of good work into Wikipedia and so I have no complaints. I will indeed try another aviation article when I have some more time for research and contribute to others in the meantime. BritAirman (talk) 23:35, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

If your looking for something to work on, Airbus A320neo family needs allot of work. --JetBlast (talk) 00:00, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

The article does not meet A7 of the list of criteria for speedy deletion. As I said on the talk page the looky looky men are not an organization, they are a stereotype, and thus do not appear to fall under the category of "groups or organizations" or as "individual people".--Q-Jux Q-Jux Q-Jux (talk) 22:18, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

  • Maybe the article should have a better name? --JetBlast (talk) 22:22, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
  • No, I think this is by far the most commonly accepted name. What I'm saying is that I do not think the speedy deletion rules seem to apply here from what I understand.--Q-Jux Q-Jux Q-Jux (talk) 22:24, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
  • I've declined the speedy deletion of the article, since A7 does not apply to names/terms. You can take it to AfD if you want though.--Slon02 (talk) 22:33, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks. Someone else have mate it a redirect anyway. --JetBlast (talk) 22:36, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

FYI, i have marked this as an AdD. Thanks --JetBlast (talk) 00:53, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

Collapsable List

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.

I have discussed this with other users and we have agreed it it necessary for southwest to have collapsable list. and also... I don't want to fight with you but clearly you are following me and my edits because everywhere I edit you show up so please stop. (If you are going to respond please respond on my page). Cali4529 (talk) 23:53, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

I am not following you i have better things in my life to do, just happens your editing pages on my watchlist. Where is this discussion? I have just noticed broken the 3 revert rule. You reverted an edit 3 times within 24 hours to Southwest Airlines. That usually results in a ban. --JetBlast (talk) 23:57, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
@JetBlast: Discussion on this is taking place at WT:AIRLINES. See the most recent thread as well as the one titled "Fleet Size in Infobox." —Compdude123 (talk) 02:02, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
But a consensus has not been reached. Because of this the changes should not yet be made. Cali4529 need to wait until this has taken place. --JetBlast (talk) 02:16, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
You tell me though, Delta has 10 hubs, United 10, Southwest 12 and you leave Delta and United but say Southwest shouldn't get it. Can you tell me where that logic comes from? And what do you have against the collapsable list? Cali4529 (talk) 03:23, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I never noticed Delta and United, i dont visit united much and hardly ever delta. I am not totally against them, i created the on on the Ryanair page. I just think they defeat the whole point of the info box. Anyway why do you like to add them all the time and refuse to listen to other editors? --JetBlast (talk) 03:27, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I lissen to other editors when I agree with other editors :). A new section in WT:AIRLINES has been created and this time we will get somewhere. I am open to discussion but I just looked at Southwest and Delta and United without the collapsable list and it is quite long and it doesn't really defeat the purpose as it makes the info box more "legible" and more interactive. Cali4529 (talk) 03:31, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
The whole point of the info box is to instantly see key facts. It doesnt work that way with those lists. Anyway stop putting them in until a consensus has been reached. You should remove them until this time comes. --JetBlast (talk) 03:34, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I will not change anything else until a consensus us made but it needs to be made soon so all of this can stop because its not just me and you its a lot of users that are not agreeing and fighting. Cali4529 (talk) 03:35, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

Well if that is the case why did you keep on adding them? You should remove the ones you have put in until it has been decided. --JetBlast (talk) 03:37, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

I said that I will not meaning starting now, lol. Please come to the new discussion. We are going to try to make this as short and not painful as possible.Cali4529 (talk) 03:39, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

Rochester Airport

I need your help at Greater Rochester International Airport. The Airline and Destination section is messed up and I don't know what needs fixing but it is definitely wrong. I think the regional airlines are wrong because there are way too many and while it is possible I doubt all the regional airlines are correct on that page. Speedy deletion declined: User talk:JetBlast

Hello JetBlast. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User talk:JetBlast, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Does not apply to user talk pages. Thank you. Tikiwont (talk) 13:41, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Please can you tell me how i can delete it please? thanks --JetBlast (talk) 13:42, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Why would you? We keep this as history of communication. --Tikiwont (talk) 13:44, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Peer Review for Alaska Airlines

Hello. Not sure if you're still on WP, but I'm going to post this anyway. I started a peer review for Alaska Airlines a couple of weeks ago but nobody has commented on it yet. The peer review is located here. Please take a look at the article and post your comments on the peer review page. Thanks, Compdude123 (talk) 17:28, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion on the Talk page of the above article as to whether the fleet table should be removed. As someone who has made a number of contributions to the article it would be good to have your input. Thanks. Rangoon11 (talk) 13:38, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
