Hi, why this? John (talk) 22:40, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi. I don't think a separate sentence is needed there. Date of death is already in the first sentence, and the fact that he served a whole of life sentence. I don't think his death is one of the most important things to detail in the lead. But not too stressed either way. What do you think? // Hippo43 (talk) 22:54, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
Hmm, I definitely see your point. I would lean towards including it. Did you see the point I made about low quality sources in talk? John (talk) 23:06, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
I think it's recentism, and we don't cover other life events like his birth, marriages or education in the lead. If this lead is to fairly reflect the content of the article, it should probably have more on the other Anagram cases. But like I said, I'm not hugely bothered.
I agree about the Daily Record. It's a heap of shit. Especially for the sort of speculative stuff from police and prison "sources" it's being used to support in this article. // Hippo43 (talk) 00:28, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
