Please file a report at WP:ANEW on him. It won't end otherwise. I'd do it myself but it's hundreds of times easier to do with Twinkle and us lowly IPs can't use that. 174.212.222.24 (talk) 20:06, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 months for edit warring at Filipe Nyusi. In view of the fact that this is your tenth block for edit-warring, I seriously considered making the block indefinite. I advise you that you may well be at, or very close to, the end of the time when you can get away with edit-warring and being blocked only for a limited time. The purpose of blocking is not to prevent you from edit-warring for a while, and then let you continue again until the next block; it is to try to persuade you not to edit-war ever again, and since time limited blocks are not achieving that aim, there is unlikely to be any point in continuing with them. I am giving you one more time-limited block, together with this fairly long warning, in the hope that yo will now at last take notice. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 21:55, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:

My edits at Filipe Nyusi were not damaging or disruptive. Instead, they were "useful contributions", in response to a persistent single-purpose editor incessantly adding biased/unsourced/poorly sourced content to a BLP article, which is exempt from the edit-warring policy, per WP:3RRNO. There might have been a better way to do this, but I was acting in a positive way to maintain the quality of a BLP article, and these edits are clearly exempt. A block of any length is not appropriate. In addition, JBW mentioned my previous blocks as justification for this one, but my last block was 3 years ago, since which time I have made thousands of positive contributions. There is no pattern of behaviour here which justifies a block. Thanks. // Hippo43 (talk) 09:47, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

In light of the fact that you have many blocks for edit warring, you should take greater care to avoid even the perception of edit warring. 3RRNO states "What counts as exempt under BLP can be controversial. Consider reporting to the BLP noticeboard instead of relying on this exemption." I would want to see you commit to doing that to consider unblocking you, instead of relying on the exemption. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 13:52, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
