Old Messages Redacted for Brevity[edit]

"Please look before you leap. That image is speculation" Pure inuyasha 17:10, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3 years later, I don't remember which page we were talking about. But it was probably my mistake. -F.

William Durden "Here is the text from http://www.dickinson.edu/about/president/bio.html" - Medtopic 04:01, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake, thanks for the explanation. -F.

Image:Mesoplanets2.png Xena is too big in this picture. See this image for a more accurate reprsentation of the size differential between the two planets. --Cyde Weys 17:06, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I'm glad there are better planet comparison images now. -F.

Could you give more details on the talk page about what exactly needs to be rewrite at Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The article follows the same structure and similar prose as other anime articles. So your {{rewrite}} tag is a bit confusing and your edit summary didn't state what needs correcting. --Farix (Talk) 22:27, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My followup is at Talk:Bakugan Battle Brawlers. -F.

Amanda Knox, accused killer, has had much coverage, won an Internet award for most famous woman of the year, but was denied an article. Not all killers or accused killers get a WP page. User F203 (talk) 23:33, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for a point of comparison. -F.

On Talk:Knowledge_Grid you commented that you might "rewrite the entire article". Is that likely to happen soon? If not, then I will do some tidying up of the current content. Matthew C. Clarke 05:10, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I had to spend more time in RL and didn't have the time to work on WP. -F.

LOL Talk about timing. Hey, you know if 1969 is available? - frankie (talk) 22:39, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

;-) -F.

Help:[edit]

Previewing references[edit]

Regarding your comment for this change: "syntax typo, wish I could preview refs", it appears that the references section is visible if there's a <references/> in the chunk you're editing. Edit the whole page instead of just a section, or else (temporarily:) put a <references/> at the end of the section while you're editing it. DMacks 20:53, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tag suggestion, very helpful. -F.

Vandalism[edit]

the article Crop diversity was vandalised from a university ip address which has been warned repeatedly, lastly by you. i dont know how to notify wp of vandalism other than this. hope it helps. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 15:24, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it looks like an admin already took care of it. -F.
p.s. You can submit blocking requests to WP:AIV. I recently started using WP:Twinkle which speeds up the process greatly.

212.138.47.16 IP Vandal[edit]

The IP vandalised User:WesleyDodds at 10.30[1] and I gave the IP a level 3 warning at 10.31[2]. The IP has made no further edits since that time[3] so doesn't need to be given a level 4 warning. You should only trust the times given by diffs as other times can be dependent on local settings. --JD554 (talk) 16:52, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One warning per spree seems a little weak to me. Ah well. -F.

Editing[edit]

Steny Hoyer[edit]

I feel really good about adding a Domestic Issues section to his page, with one brief sentence about warrantless wiretaps. Exactly as I hoped, it was the pebble that started an avalanche of edits. Now if only there were a way to unseat him... - Frankie (talk)

SB remaining numbers[edit]

I've added to the (very old) discussion at Talk:Seventeen_or_Bust#What_is_so_special_about_the_remaining_numbers.3F and thought you might be interested. — Mini-Geek (talk) 19:23, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
