Notability for academics[edit]

Hi! I saw you just had a biographical article on a professor declined. I am not sure if you know it, but there is a specific standard for biographical articles on professors. You will find it at WP:PROF. Also, I will leave a link to a Q&A forum for new users here at Wikipedia, The Teahouse. You can go there and they will give you simple hopefully clear answers to help you clarify Wikipedia's anything-but-clear policies and standards. Although I am a reviewer, I didn't formally review your article, because I usually stay clear of academics articles. I do know that more is needed to show notability than a listing of the man's works, though. I wish you well, and happy editing! Gtwfan52 (talk) 05:49, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Greg N. Gregoriou has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced.
