Proposed deletion of Tiago Casasola[edit]

The article Tiago Casasola has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is not an intermediate standard of the English language!

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Invite to the African Destubathon[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:03, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Career stats tables[edit]

Hello, and thank you for fixing the mistakes I made with the league divisions when I changed the format of the stats table at Cheick Keita.

What nobody's told you is that we're supposed to use the format at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. I know there are lots of pages that still use the format with separate country headers and country totals at the bottom, and without any references, so I'm guessing you just copied that format from another page. In future, when you create more pages, please will you use the format at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players, and include your sources, either above the table or (better) on each row.

I'll change the Cheick Keita table back, and I'll try not to make any mistakes this time :-) cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:27, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on András Csonka, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. It's Giorgos Kyriakopoulos not Giorgios Kyriakopoulos. It's a mistake. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8F1:1604:1800:D8C5:2377:38D2:4261 (talk) 08:42, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, there are many Greek players with very talent and two of them maybe next year will play for AC Milan. Those two are Konstantinos Tzolakis from Olympiacos and Nikos Michelis from Asteras Tripolis. Also, Asteras Tripolis has many other players with very talent such Giannis Christopoulos, Panagiotis Tzimas and Antonis Tsiftsis. Very talented is Stefanos Stroungis from Atromitos. Kostas Apostolakis from Panathinaikos is amazing talent. And Vasilios Fasidis from Xanthi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.92.247.151 (talk) 10:34, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 4[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship squads, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lasse Sørensen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
