Non-free rationale for File:-Users-admin-Downloads-Murnane3-page-001.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:-Users-admin-Downloads-Murnane3-page-001.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 18:19, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:-Users-admin-Downloads-Murnane3-page-001.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:-Users-admin-Downloads-Murnane3-page-001.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:22, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

D.J. Murnane[edit]

Please STOP moving this article about - there is no reason for anything in the title other than D.J. Murnane - it does not need disambiguation as there is no other D.J. Murnane on Wikipedia. - Arjayay (talk) 14:57, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of W A Cuscaden[edit]

Hello Epec 2000,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged W A Cuscaden for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Meatsgains (talk) 16:25, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content there[edit]

Hello. It seems you have usurped the page and overwritten all content. I am trying to fix it. Please do not revert me. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 02:11, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider waiting for a while. I will need to help fix the page first. What happened was that you overwrote an existing page. I am trying to fix it now and would appreciate if you don't edit on that for a few hours. Please don't worry - your content will not be lost. I will restore it on a separate page and you can edit that. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 02:15, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi .... wow. i'm new to this and am learning. This needs vigilant editors but the truth is they may shut down good research a bit too early. EG my research on the background of a former police commissioner WA Cuscaden was also deleted.

Conor (talk) 02:20, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Thank you for your understanding. I understand that you efforts were in good faith. But what it did was to overwrite an existing page which was then moved to a new title. This creates a bit of problems with attribution. In addition, someone from an external website who could have been looking for that article wouldn't be able to find it. I have now restored Murnane Service Reservoir to it's original content. The content which you wrote is now at D. J. Murnane and you can edit it. Thank you. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 05:51, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If you would like to get back W A Cuscaden, you can request for it to be userfied at WP:REFUND. I usually create article in draftspace. That allows me to edit and finish article before publishing it to the main space. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 05:57, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
