Date formats[edit]

Please don't add "th" or "rd" to date ordinals. This is contrary to the manual of style for dates. Thanks  Velella  Velella Talk   15:09, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style. Larry Hockett (Talk) 15:40, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Stop adding "th" to dates. We don't do that--and it's certainly got nothing to do with grammar. Drmies (talk) 15:44, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   --Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:46, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been asked to not do this. The reason to not do it has been explained to you. Please do not start up again once your block expires. TBH, this is the most ridiculous set of WP:IDNHT I've had to block for. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:48, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Hi Wikipedia, I’m new here and has been blocked from editing. I was intending of fixing grammar of Albert Einstein’s article. I don’t intend to sabotage any article in wikipedia, but I admit my careless mistake overlooking the protected article and I will be extra careful in the future. Hope Wikipedia could remove the block and allow me to keep editing. Elizabeth Musks (talk) 16:06, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Edits like this are not useful. You were told that you shouldn't be doing that, but you simply continued. There is not other solution to this disruption but to block you. Please, do not continue that behavior when the block expires. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:51, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hi Wikipedia, I apologize for this wrongdoings. And I did overlook the warning issued by wikipedia till I came to the user talk page yesterday. Hope this would be a lesson for me and hope wikipedia would allow me to keep editing. Elizabeth Musks (talk) 00:33, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock discussion[edit]

This has nothing to do with Einstein. You have methodically made changes contrary o the WP:MOS after being asked not to. That is the issue you must address. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:14, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi Wikipedia, I wasn’t know I was being warned about adding th on the date a few times till I came to the user talk page and saw message from Wiki. But now I learnt that mistake. I’m sorry and promise won’t do the same again.

Decline reason:

These were not the only problems with your edits. Yamla (talk) 01:27, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
