It wont happen, i tried to keep them seperate but consensus was against me. There was a long 6 week debate over it, so cant go back against it now. I knew if they were merged it would be harder to get FA and i knew Thriller 25 would get treated like shit and stuff would have to be deleted. Ha, na im not sticking around, ive made 8500 edits in 10 months but im not interested anymore. Take the first reviewer, i resolved all his points, i asked him if he had anything more to complain about to please feel free to speak up, he never replied, but even though i resolved his issues he didnt endorse the FA. If you cant see any problems it should be ok. Then another editer said fail but we've had arguments in the past, he must have jumped into the sky when he saw i put Thriller up. Then you have another reviewer saying talk about his wierd cloths , his eccentric behaviour. Please give me a break. But your review was fine and at least your upfront and helpful. I have spoked to the admin who eventually got it merged here. Hopefully you can persuade him its for the best to give T25 its own page. If i can be promised it will have a secure sole article ill do everything you want with the bits that should stay on Thriller. As long as the content of T25 is protected somewhere you can 2 lines or 3 paragraphs of T25 on the Thriller page for all i care, im happy to agree then. Before we continue i think we need to sort something out with T25. Please speak to the admin. OK ok I have a plan. Im going to leave the content of T25 as it is. However im going to make a summary of it on my sandbox. We will do the FA review with the full content of T25. If the reviewers decide it only needs a summary, i will delete all of T25, give it its own page, and add my sandbox summary to the Thriller article. The swop will take like 5 minutes, the reviewers will be SHOCKED at how quickly i do it. That way hopefully it can pass with all the content. I know, i reaslised that music videos are themselves part of the legacy, and that the music videos and racial issue's should go together as they as linked strongly. Then i thought oh what the hell, lets put critical and commerical together. I shuffled paragraphs and pictures around and now it makes sense. One thing that stands out is Background and writing: "I like her music", "I have always listened to his records" ugh. I think you can replace it with "They decided to collaborate because of mutual admiration for each other's work." That section is kinda short and stubby too, anything more on the recording process? Talking of screenshots you may want to remove those four clubbed together images, because it might imply more fair-use concern. Normally you hit the Print screen video and paste it in MS Paint. Whatever is on the screen gets saved as a picture. However this doesn't capture movies on the screen (at least for me). I'll see if there's a software that lets you do that. indopug (talk) 06:06, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Eureka! I figured it out...(hope you don't mind me placing Dizfreak's comments in a separate section)

Open Windows Media Player (WMP)
Click the Tools menu
Click Options
Click the Performance tab
Slide the video acceleration to none.
Click OK
Play the video (at a small size so that the resolution looks good) and at the moment you want the pic press "print section" (near the page up key on a desktop keyboard, in between the alphabet section and the numpad)
Go to MS paint. Click Edit, then paste.
Using the "Select" tool select the part you want, and cut (Ctrl + X) it.
Open a new file on Paint and paste it. And there you go.

Why not cut out her face from this pic for the infobox? Get rid of the big list of interviews from the external links, trim down the discography to just the studio albums, and I think you can drastically cut down on the information (esp charting info) in the prose: no need to mention how every single did in every market. The article is a little too long and can be cut down a lot in many places. Publishers in the refs need to be genralised; MTV intead of MTV News (I think no italics, check the wiki article) etc... indopug (talk) 13:36, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Thriller PR and future

Glad it was closed. Thanks so much for the heads up on the closed Peer Review. I was not aware of it being closed as I had been checking on the article today when I had time while I was at work. As for the userboxes, so sorry about that. It was simply a colon in place of a pipe in my code. I am still getting used to my smaller laptop computer. I'm not an MJ fan, but want to get those articles up to par because they are important to music history. As for the PR failing, it didn't have a chance. Realist2 has been unblocked and is editing away. In fact, they reverted my edits within 3 minutes. Great news, me and Disneyfreak have come to a compromise. I will accept his T25 summary (its basically that summary i made but trimmed down some more), and we will give T25 its own page again. Its all been agreed at the Thriller talk page and even a bunch of other editers have agreed to it. I would appreciate your final name added to it as a stamp of approval and that we get on with it. It seems like the most peaceful, fair way of doing things. Im a little gutted that there wont be much info on T25 at the Thriller article put im prepared to let it go with this compromise. case citations

Those citations are case citations, which is the standard way for citing to court decisions. (It's obviously very different than citing any other type of document. Cases are normally cited in bluebook format, at least in the US.) There is a template {{Cite court}} but the page says it's experimental and advises against using it. I would say you should just leave them typed out. I added wikilinks to the relevant parts of the case citation article, so people know what all the funny numbers mean, but you could take those out if you'd like. Beyonce Knowles

Hi Efe, Who is they suggested it be removed? That section was actually there before I began editing the article. The only part I had added was about the marriage, which kept being removed and I understand that. I still do not understand why the entire personal life section is being removed. Every artist has a personal life section. We would need to go to every artists page and delete them. There needs to be a happy medium here somewhere. Everyone should have the right to contribute tasteful opinions and not have them removed and mercilessly edited by someone just because he or she feels their opinion is the only one that counts or that they are the authority on this person's life. This is what is the beauty of Wikipedia. For example the parts about the controversy will need to be deleted. No one really know what happended to former memebers of the group except the group members. The only "references" that exist are media speculations.
