Article

The thing itself is finished and all, but I can't seem to get the "references" and "works" parts to appear on the screen. I've checked the code to wiki standards, and I don't see any reason why the text should stop right after the main content of the article. Laatzitten (talk) 13:51, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

What do you mean by "I don't see any reason why the text should stop right after the main content of the article"? Just tell me if you have troubles in editing an article. Cheers! --Efe (talk) 00:33, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
The problem seems to have been solved, as the "works", "references" and "notes" headings are fully visible now + text. Thanks for your help anyway. Laatzitten (talk) 09:32, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Always welcome. --Efe (talk) 11:43, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Lol

I think ive completely sourced the MJ article. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 03:03, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

What do you mean? --Efe (talk) 03:05, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
The michael Jackson article, i think its all sourced now. Thought id never see the day. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 03:07, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Rfa thanks

Thank you for participating in my RfA. The Rfa was successful with 64 Support and 1 Neutral. None of this would have happened without your support. I would also like to thank my nominator Wizardman and my sensei/co-nom bibliomaniac15--Lenticel (talk) 09:12, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Enriquetired.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Enriquetired.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:19, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Go ahead. --Efe (talk) 02:47, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
I don't think so. I just gave it another lease of life (or not). -iaNLOPEZ1115 10:36, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for salvaging the image. --Efe (talk) 11:22, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks reciprocated. Btw, I save nonfree images in case of deletion. (Just in case if gets deleted, I have a backup copy) -iaNLOPEZ1115 11:48, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
"Just in case if gets deleted, I have a backup copy" For what purpose? --Efe (talk) 01:37, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
In case of the sudden deletion, I'm reuploading it. -iaNLOPEZ1115 06:01, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Postscript: And since the nonfree image is still in thatarticle, I think that reuploading is unnecessary. -iaNLOPEZ1115 06:03, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

I see you removed the tag. In this case, when the image is being used again, just remove the tag. Thanks again. FYI, Bots will remove the tag themselves when the issue has been resolved. --Efe (talk) 07:54, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Please Assist Me

Hello Efe. There has been a lot of debate over this image I uploaded. I took it from a reliable source, but many believe it to be a fake fan made one. However I believe that it was posted on a fansite on a later date. Can you please assist me in finding out if its real or fake? Thank you. JayJ47 (talk) 05:43, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

We'll do. But I saw this kind of image in one of OK! magazine's issue. --Efe (talk) 03:29, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks again for your help. JayJ47 (talk) 06:08, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Kurt

Im sure your aware of his history by now, personally I think that slogan he uses should become his signature. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 08:44, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Absolutely no. And whether he is respected or not, he should respect other users as well. I'm not mad at any but I'm trying to inject "lessons". He might be correct, because self-nominations are really fishy. But he must be objective. What if you'll run an RfA and my comment is: "A very very very stong OPPOSE This user is always changing his mind whether he's gonna run for an adminship or not. Duh." Now, what is your say? --Efe (talk) 09:05, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

(Copying from Realist2's talk page) You have a point Efe, its quite funny seeing you ruffled like this, it shows you have strong principles though. I like it. :-) — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:51, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Julian Doyle

I've had a go at cleaning up Julian Doyle (filmmaker), which you tagged as non-neutral. Is it ok if I remove the tag, or do you have further concerns? --Rushmore cadet (talk) 13:14, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

I removed the tag. I see no more flowery words. --Efe (talk) 08:19, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Efe, I thought I'd let you know that:

  • It's not necessary to change real emdashes (—) to html emdashes (—): [1]
  • See WP:MOS#Ellipses on the correct spacing: [2]

Best regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 17:07, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

I really prefer using the code. I think I have to change. About the edit, I make use of the code because it is being used in the above portion of the lead. About the ellipsis, I didn't know about the addition of the non-breaking space code. Thanks Sandy. --Efe (talk) 00:19, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Your Assistance Again

Hello again. I am very sorry to disturb you again but I again urgently need your assistance. Recently I had found this source: [3] to source the Netherlands chart positions in this article. However numerous IP and account users have been changing the chart positions back to older revisions, all of which seem to be incorrect. I have notified users to check the source, by writing this in the edit summary but all the users seem to be ignoring the notifications. I have also sent messages to various IP's and accounts but nothing seems to work. Could it be that this source is unreliable? Please help me. Thank you. JayJ47 (talk) 06:31, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Is the source reliable as evaluated against WP:Reliable source? The site is non-English so I cannot help you that much. However, if its reliable, you can add it. You can somehow ask question here and tell me if its reliable. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 07:12, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Again thank you for your assistance. You no longer need to worry about it I have things sorted. Thank you JayJ47 (talk) 21:45, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Just tell me if you have problems dealing with IPs. Cheers. --Efe (talk) 00:23, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Leyte

Hi, I am certain that I responded tersely to your conversations in Duck's page. Let me quote your message there: Well, you can stand by it. Its just that a lot of eyes are waiting for Floro to commit mistake then block. =) --Efe (talk) 07:58, 30 June 2008 (UTC) By way of reply, I state that Wikipedia is fair and just. All editors are co-equal and are protected by Wiki's rules and ethics. I vistited your page, when I read Leyte. I lived and stayed there for many years, as stated by many Leytenos, who said so, despite my non-knowledge of it (when I was at Tolosa, Olot, Tacloban, on Good Friday, 1998). It was my first alleged by them Bilocation among more than 20. I do not claim but they claim. It is so clean and quiet place.[4], [5] Regards. It is my most important journey: Leyte.--Florentino floro (talk) 09:34, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes. That's why Im here. WikiPedia is nice. Its just that you have to abide rules and do what is good (note: some users do advice) and avoid users whom do you think is against you. Good luck Sir. P.S., I peeked at your page and its like an enclopedia entry. Nice. =) --Efe (talk) 11:49, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
(Clarification) " ...and avoid users whom do you think is against you ..." What I mean is although you avoid them because they hated you, think of the lighter side. If they advice for good, well, do it. If the conflict remains, roam around Wiki, there are a lot of friends to discover. =) --Efe (talk) 11:53, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
I am so much surprised that many editors here are so young. Imagine, I was astonished that my adopting parent IanLopez who is so brilliant was just 16. I admire him because I was touched when he emailed me - the reason why he adopted me: my story is an inspiration. I heard that there is a very young Filipino editor who is courted by WikiPilipinas to contribute, due to his brilliance. I am 55 and you still have lots to do to have a bright future. I love Leyte since Imelda, my idol (of course Ferdinand) lived there, and it is pristine clean, no corruption, all the roads were perfect. I cannot forget Tolosa and Olot, since there, many people accused me of living there, with them when I had never been there until Good Friday of April, 1998. These Leytenos are the living witnesses of the Spiritual gift of Bilocation, that I was endowed. Rest assured that I will be the first one to follow Wiki rules, just that many here could not believe that I learned this PC internet only in April 2006.
Well, I cannot blame any Filipino editor that did not like me. We cannot please everybody, hence, Wiki has many avenues to solve these problems. Unlike in courts, Wiki is more fair and there is due process. I am not really here to meet friends but to work and contribute to make this book a better one for future generations. God bless. --Florentino floro (talk) 12:06, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Uhm, making friends is one way of making a great encyclopedia. Cheers! --Efe (talk) 12:13, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Serviam

Cardinal Sin's motto is "That I may serve." I am here to serve, to help editors make Wiki a better book. The reason why I worked for more than 2 months to write more about myself / my biography (following the pattern of about 20 administrators' user pages/and reading the rules on Wiki users pages) in my User talk page (having read the rules on this), is to make Wiki a better encyclopedia. Imagine Florentino Floro, created by many editors, but, like many articles or stubs / start class, it is just 1% of the truth. Hence, I used Wiki links and citations from Google and Gigablast to perhaps explain to editors that I can contribute good articles and edits amid the Florentino Floro copy paste of mental illness. Yes, many editors had not read the links about myself, hence, I had to painfully research to fill in the gaps. I hope that my user page will be an inspiration to many editors and the readers of Wikipedia, on life's trials. I am still jobless until today and mastered pain.--Florentino floro (talk) 12:28, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Sorry to hear that Sir. --Efe (talk) 12:48, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Sorry din if I reply very shortly. --Efe (talk) 12:48, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Maybe this will help. I notice that Lenticel is now admin, I applied for adoption, due to retirement of my parent and resignation of my former parent. Seems, my adopters vanished. Just sayin. At any rate, if you have time, it will just take a day to read my bio on my user page. I researched the format of 20 admins to complete it in 2 months.[6]--Florentino floro (talk) 07:20, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Good choice Sir. --Efe (talk) 08:04, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
User:Ianlopez1115 my former adopting parent, is Wikipedia administrator hopefuls, but is burdened by high school studies, being a Whiz kid speller. He adopted me, coz, he read my court pleading on Imprecation motion[7] on his relative Arturo D. Brion. But I still treasure his tenacity amid his fear, though[8]. It never crossed my mind that my court motions would be read here[9]. Hope Ian would be admin.--Florentino floro (talk) 08:57, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Okay... You said "no worries". Im not agianst you or anything, but why have I been warned? II MusLiM HyBRiD II (talk) 13:08, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

OOps, sorry for that. I fixed it. Regards, --Efe (talk) 13:12, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Blackout (Britney Spears album) etc.

Please keep in mind when editing pages, punctuation ALWAYS goes inside quotation marks.

For example: "We will prosecute and put people in jail," said the deputy.

Not, "We will prosecute and put people in jail", said the deputy.

Also, please refrain from adding "the" to titles, unless "the" is part of the title.

For example: "The White Stripes," and "The Color Purple."

Not, "The Duran Duran," "The Rolling Stone" magazine, or "The Queen Latifah."

71.141.114.187 (talk) 14:45, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Please refer to WP:PUNC. Regards, --Efe (talk) 00:54, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
I stand corrected. I was not aware that Wikipedia uses logical quotation, as opposed to typesetters' quotation. Being in the legal field, we always use typesetters' quotation. However, I notice that you have reverted my edits, and, upon further review of the quoted text, the quotes should be changed to reflect the gist of what was written, as opposed to how it is literally quoted, and, incorrectly, I might add. Not by you, but by whoever first quoted the text. I will make the edits accordingly. Also, you have place a "the" in front of the title of the magazine, "People," which is still incorrect. I believe what you mean to write is that according to "the People magazine article," and I will include that as well. 71.141.114.187 (talk) 01:58, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes. WikiPedia uses the logical quotation. Oops, sorry for adding "the". Thanks for that. Cheers. --Efe (talk) 06:53, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Thriller

Hi Efe, do you think its going to pass this FA review? I'm really shocked that no-one has voted to support it yet, its quite disheartening considering all the work everyone has put into it. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 12:09, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, be patient man. Just do what you think is right for the article, specially addressing comments by reviewers. Sooner or later, you will be overwhelmed by their supports. I see one comment in the FAC that its well-written, so why worry? Prose is the very problemized issue of many FA writers. If the article is well-written, then its up for FAC; sources are good too. Maybe just some minute tweakings. Regards, --Efe (talk) 12:14, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
What is this? --Efe (talk) 12:16, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

FA

Yes I removed my nomination, sorry to hear about yours. *Group hug* — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 08:47, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Also, you should check out the music articles that are listed as FA, there are hardly any articles about black music, its dominated by white rock. Sometimes I think black music is held to a higher standard that other music, there is one editor who already quit over this apparent bias. It probably doesn't help that most of the FA reviewers are into rock, punk, alternative music. Its not their fault, but we clearly need skilled editors who are interested in and understand black music to contribute to FA reviews. Im deeply concerned by the lack of FA articles relating to non white music. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 09:23, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
What I after is that if they pass white-related music FAs, it must be of equal stardard to that of other black-music FAs or up to the standards of an FA article. Sigh. I targeted this one before I reach my first anniversary here in Wiki. I had my WikiBirthday last July 2. =) --Efe (talk) 09:30, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Right now, I'm expecting a backlash from this user, because of his record. This user obviously does not know the ropes here in Wikipedia, especially with his GMA Network Logos article, which obviously clasehes with WP:NFCC. I've just validly reverted his edits on Pinoy Idol because he primped it into an ad-like article, which is clashing with WP:ADVERT. But with my history with this guy, he is one who could not be minded easily, especially when he flamed me through an e-mail (which I showed to Lenticel). Can anyone help me in dealing this guy?

BTW, this same message has been posted in the Tambayan because I suspect Lenticel (the only Filipino admin I know) is offline right now. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:16, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

So far, I left a message on his talk page. Also, I started removing images that obviously fail under non-free images criteria. --Efe (talk) 11:38, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
BTW, User:TheCoffee is also an admin. He is Filipino. =) --Efe (talk) 11:39, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if that will work. Should I show you the contents of the e-mail he sent me that I showed to Lenticel? BTW, I'll tell TheCoffee about Webwires. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:41, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, I am waiting for his response first. Uhm, Im intrigued. Please let me read through my e-mail. Thanks. --Efe (talk) 11:44, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
It appears TheCoffee is offline, too. While you're waiting, you should also take a look on his responses on Pinoy Idol's talk page. BTW, are you sifting through your e-mail to look for his reply there? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:48, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes. --Efe (talk) 11:52, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Hmm. This discussion sounds not good. --Efe (talk) 11:55, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I told you he cannot be reminded about policy very easily. He just wants his own thing, especially when it's against Wikipedia policy, especially in regards to WP:POINT and WP:ATTACK. Has he replied yet, BTW? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:59, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
PS: He has gone ballistic as expected. Can you send him an e-mail about his behavior? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 12:01, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
He has not replied yet. I'll wait. Also, I usually do not send messages through e-mail if its not an off-Wiki concern. PS, if he commits mistake, just state it. Do not use wording such as "You're just a childish guy." for you to avoid clashes. Cheers. PS, I think he is online. --Efe (talk) 12:07, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Next time, I won't; what I said there was just a reaction to his behavior. However, I just don't want to talk to him anymore based on my experience with him, as well as Howard's. Did you read the diff I posted here to see his edits, BTW? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 12:19, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for understanding. Cheers. So far, I read the Idol talk page and his replies are provocative as well. Can you present other diffs? --Efe (talk) 12:24, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Here are the four diffs: [10] [11] [12] [13] ,and the combined diff. And while I think Starczamora can help out on this matter, I don't think he's online right now, based on his contributions. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 12:30, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I dont want to talk about him anymore. I think he's leaving Wiki. --Efe (talk) 07:40, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: Crazy in Love

Hey, I left some other notes in the review and you know I'm happy to be reviewing one of the articles you nominated. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:43, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Im also happy that you find "happiness" in reviewing my GANs. Thank you. BTW, I'll be addressing your additional concerns later. Im really busy. --Efe (talk) 05:42, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, I do like to make people smile. ;) That's fine, just don't bail on me over the 7 days limit though. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:13, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Done. Please check. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 08:53, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
I checked. Congrats, you have another GA in your midst. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:52, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for passing the article. --Efe (talk) 07:08, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
You're welcome. Again, if you need an article for review, just hit me up. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:29, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
Sure. --Efe (talk) 02:30, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Coldplay

How interested are you with Coldplay? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 18:57, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

Oh my, I'm not interested to them. Why? --Efe (talk) 00:59, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'm pretty sure you are interesting to them. ;) The reason I ask, since you're a music articles person, is because I would like to, even maybe, get a couple of Coldplay songs to GA. But, IDK. I may need some pointers and all. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:41, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Ah. Its actually fine for me to bring a music-related article to GA status as long as there are lots of online sources, or offline sources if someone can provide me. =) --Efe (talk) 08:51, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
I'll go with "Clocks". =) --Efe (talk) 09:57, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
OMG, what a coincidence, "Clocks" is my favorite song. ;) Alright, I'll try to find sources and I'll run them by you. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:31, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Seems we are having a good start. --Efe (talk) 06:49, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Cool, I'll continue looking for some stuff. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:34, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Damn, I just read "Clocks" and I'm impressed. I'm so jealous, I wish I could do what you do. Hey, I've been searching throughout archives, Google, for info. on the song, but it seems that its archived and buying the article would be the way to go. Now, my stupid question to you, what should I search, in the news, about the song? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 02:18, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

It would be helpful if we can find news or interviews about the song, especially those accounting its background, production, lyrics, music, etc. --Efe (talk) 08:31, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Deja Vu

Hey I'm sorry it failed. I still thinks it's a very good article. We'll work on it soon and address all the issues. :) Orane (talk) 03:14, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi again

Hi, I was really thinking twice before having added that photo of Thriller. It seems, that after reading the copyright info on its page, it remains difficult for us to comprehend the legality of the fair use, inter alia. Thanks anyway for visiting my user page. Regards. --Florentino floro (talk) 08:20, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

Yah, its very tricky. But I understand a lil', that's why I removed it. Welcome Sir. --Efe (talk) 11:14, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

Invitation, RFC

May I please invite you to join this discussion, if you may.[14], Regards.--Florentino floro (talk) 07:52, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

We'll take a look later Sir. --Efe (talk) 08:40, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
(Copied) Thanks. Wikipedia is a fair online book, please share your wisdom to the world, just borrowed my template in user page from another editor. Wiki is colorful, hence, Hilario Davide, Jr. article needs to be expanded to be balanced. Thanks.--Florentino floro (talk) 08:45, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
BTW Sir, I used this image which I saw in your user page. =) --Efe (talk) 09:21, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
If you read WikiPilipinas(where I registered but stopped contributing for "reasons"), our Filipino Wiki allowed many things Wikipedia does not, like creating your own articles, and massive editing without limits. But it is a damn failure, unlike Wikipedia, in view of its neutrality, fairness and letter-by-letter obedience to the rule of law. I responded to your message in my talk page. Lest I be off-topic - today and yesterday, the entire Supreme Court of the Philippines, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, and the Philippine Judges Association, painfully faced a great mourning. University of the Philippines "Class 62" (Reynato Puno, Consuelo Ynares-Santiago, Alicia Austria-Martinez and Minita Chico-Nazario) mourned the death of their classmate Malolos Executive Judge Petrita Braga Dime, July 10, amid the written pleas indicated therein[15][16]and petition for mercy with bended knees: in my March, 2008 Writ of Amparo and Habeas Data (Philippines) dismissed by the Court of Appeals, and 69 pages administrative complaint, against UP Class 62 Malolos Judge (name withheld), April 15. I lost in a Malolos civil case, not only my job but my very own ancestral house, home and lot due to bribery. The prophecy of this death like Rene Saguisag's is written very clearly in the pleadings. If you want to shorten this, or edit, please do so, lest my detractors decry:TLDR. Thanks.--Florentino floro (talk) 10:15, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I actually don't like WikiPilipinas. It will confuse readers. --Efe (talk) 09:02, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Revelation

I would like to be candid about WikiPilipinas, since it should have grown. Why did it not? Reasons - but relevant antecedents first: Before I created WikiPilipinas, I saw that there were attempts to have it created (including article Gaspar Vibal, by very good Tambayan Filipino editors here, but no one dared, since they know Vibal), but the article was deleted. None of the Filipino editors (you can look at their pictures with Gaspar Vibal here and in other Wiki commons images[17]except me, know of the secret of the vast empire of Esther Asuncion Vibal, the mother of now King of Philippine publication empire, New York tycoon Gaspar Vibal. From dire poverty, now, Vibal Publishing is a giant 100 times National Bookstore. And the only link allowed here by Wikipedia is this[18], which I added, to make it neutral, lest it be AFD. At that time, when I created the 2 articles, I had no idea about what these 2 articles were. Nothing really, until I met a classmate in horse racing at Pulilan off-track, the IT staff of Richard Grimaldo, Filnet / Vibal Publishing. The agenda, was offer to publish my 2nd 900 pages book, and review upon arrival of Gaspar from New York, April, 2008. A carte($40 million) World Bank loan.... this is just a tip or grain of the assets of Vibal. Due to these ramblings between me and top Vibal Wiki editors here, per the rat's musings, my book was denied. So, I erased all my messages in Wikipinas leaving just my user page. In short, Psalm 109. You read between the lines. WikiPilipinas and Vibal Publishing is doomed. Please amend some parts of this for this is TLDR. But if you have email, I can divulge the other finer points of Vibal. I do not want to open Pandoras box here.
The best things in life is not meant to be free. Why should we Filipino editors contribute and spend time for Wikipinas and Filnet's babies advertised here. I want to devote my entire time in Wikipedia, 9 hours daily and zero time for these Pinas Wiki. I do not want to be used for the agenda of Vibal. I only love Wikipedia. Period. Regards. --Florentino floro (talk) 09:30, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Do we advertise them? Then its for AFD. --Efe (talk) 09:34, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Tersely, my classmate in Pulilan race off track, staff of Vibal's Filnet, confided to me that Wikipinas and Filnet are courting a very very young genius WikiPedia editor, to join and contribute to Wikipilipinas. You know him, here, and if my radar is not mistaken, the greatest and youngest Filipino editor here was my very own dear parent who emailed me and I painfully apologized. Will he forgive me? I still owe him a lot, though angry at me perhaps. It's hard to tell in words here, how we, Filipino Wikipedia editors, are courted to contribute to WPinas and their babies, amid the failure of the project. Why should we waste time in WPinas, when Wikipedia is great? Who reads WiPinas/babies. How reliable is it/these? They were built to diffuse the legal bomb (the Vibal case is pending in the Court of Appeals, it is $ 40 million). e-turo is a billion pesos project. Many more. Efe, it is not about advertisement, it is about the legal battle up there in CA to the Supreme Court. I am certain, this talk page is the best page to let Wiki editors know about the critical fact before joining Wpinas and Wtagalogs etc. here:[19]--Florentino floro (talk) 10:11, 12 July 2008 (UTC)--Florentino floro (talk) 10:11, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
