Hey, sorry for reverting the anon edit you made to your user page. It looked like vandalism coming from an IP; glad you caught and fixed it. Welcome! Christopher Parham (talk) 03:46, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your good intentions. Canadianism 05:00, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You?[edit]

You're the same dude who keeps leaving comments on my blog! Well, thank you for them, at least I'm offending someone!

Kinneyboy90 02:07, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Skepticism doesn't get rid of the truth, it just shields it.

haha[edit]

You're in 8th grade too?! Same here. You know, we should stop the rivalry, and put all differences behind. Do you use any Instant Messengers?

Kinneyboy90 02:24, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re:haha[edit]

I do not, as of now, have Instant Messengers, however, I will get this relatively soon.

PS: Scepticism is doubtfulness of something. So, to be Sceptical, you doubt something. Rational scepticism is the aplication of the Scientific method into parts of everyday life, when doubtful of them. Rational sceptics have challenged New Age Healers and Creation pseudoscience. Rational scepticism helps find the truth, not cover it up!

I use Canadianisms, not Americanisms. I spell Sceptic with a c, not k, you Americanist!

C NOT K Remark, etc.[edit]

Canadianism, It doesn't really matter how you spell skeptic, but I'm not from Canada either, are I? I want to thank you for creating the WikiConservatism article, but it, like you is very stereotypical, I think I will edit it to make it more factual and grammatically correct in the meantime. I appreciate all that you have done, it shows me someone is reading my policies.

Kinneyboy90 17:53, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your Welcome and the sceptic part was a JOKE!

Canadianism 02:18, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Once Again, I'm Not Canadian[edit]

Blue Tory.....you calling me a Blue Tory? Well, if you are, once again, I'm not from Canada. Oh yea, learn the difference between they're, there, and their. They are all distinct nouns, which are not the same at all. Your Wikiconservative page contained errors such as those, but I tried my best to fix all of them. Analyze it again. I edited the page, but mind you, I kept it neutral, of course, the neutral in your sense.

Kinneyboy90 03:26, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

All the Canadianisms (words coined in canada) I am including for two reasons.

1)Stay true to my user name.

2)Semi-humourously illustrate to Americans what occurs when our neologism are spread across the web!

Canadianism 05:15, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No Subject[edit]

What is Asperger's Syndrome?

Why are you so hostile to Americans? I know you may not like the policies of George Bush, but that is not justification for alienating and being hostile towards the rest of the nation!

You may be surprised to hear this, but I don't like George Bush any more than you do, ever since he made a remark implicating that my God and Allah are the same entity. He took it too far! I also believe, as a supposed Methodist, he is a hypocrite, because he lied about WMDs in Iraq. But you don't see me cursing other Americans because of one man. That's like me cursing the entire German nation because of the Holocaust Hitler committed. Now is that fair? I don't think so, wasn't the German's fault, more like that old hag Hindenburg's for appointing him Chancellor in '33.

Well, I've stated my case.

Kinneyboy90 03:17, 16 October 2005 (UTC) [reply]

I am not hostile towards americans! What I'm hostile to is Americanisms! These are words or phrase coined in America or a phrase changed. American Liberal is a complete bastardization of the original term! Look it up on the Wikipedia!

Asperger Syndrome, is a syndrome characterized by specific or intense interests. When I was young, some physcologists diagnosed me with it. Check the article!

Canadianism 03:54, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

:I checked the article, but found no interests to it. It bored me, so I left it. I'd rather have a concise definition than an elaborated analysis on it!

P.S., Tommy Douglas was a Baptist minister, did you know that?

Эрон Кинней

Yes, I did. Did you know Thomas Jefferson was a deist? Oh, and Asperger Syndrome is a mental condition defined by specific interests, logical thinking (generally), lesser socializing capabilities, average to above average intellect, average to above average language capabilities, and sometimes interests in numbers (though not in my case).

Canadianism 03:45, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

:I knew Thomas Jefferson was Deist, a majority of the founding Fathers were Deists. But that's okay for them. <--- Is a theist. What is this?:

For love of goodness, check your inclusionist link!!! It is above your more facts about me. It leads to RELIGIOUS INCLUSIONISM, which is the view all religions, irreligious philosophies, etc. are valid! You don't support that, you view Christianity as the only valid religion, so change the LINK!

I don't know what you were talking about. It doesn't exist anymore. That section anyway, it got aggravating.(hmmm. My social studies teacher was baptist.)

Canadianism 22:13, 16 November 2005 (UTC)-Here is the specific text I was reffering to:[reply]
Section 5: WikiPhilosopies and Associations

I consider myself an Inclusionist, this is because I have never deleted any part of any article, unless, of course, if the info was not educational in nature, or did not meet the appropriate Wiki criteria (not truthful info). Even though I have been accused by many to be an Exclusionist and Deletionist, if you look at my credentials, you will notice I have deleted not one article anywhere. I recently joined an organization named the Association of Wikipedia Historians, not so much as I am a historian (a qualified one, anyway), but because it is one of my foremost interests, and because I enjoy writing about it. I support Wikiconservatism, and there has been widespread criticism of me because of it.

Davidson Black[edit]

I removed the reference to his wife because it had no purpose or context, and it was poorly written. Was his wife an important person in her own right? If so it should be mentioned, if not it's just taking a meaningless name onto the article. If there's something to be said about her, say it, if not, then why not mention every member of his family? It at least needs some context, otherwise it's an out of place factoid. -R. fiend 04:26, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It is important to metition the wife of someone. If not in the main article, then in a triva section. It provides knowledge as to his personal life. Someone's partner, married partner, is a piece of knowledge worth keeping, as he has gone voyagues with her.

Canadianism 04:31, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to invite you, if you already have not, to review the Canadian wikipedians' notice board. It contains useful resources for editing Canadian-related pages and provides a forum for discussion of Canada-Wikipedia issues. I see from your user page that you are an inclusionist, so you may enjoy the Canada-related articles for deletion section. I, however, am a mergist (I take a more structured approach wherein I believe useful content should be grouped into comprehensive discussion of the topic, and not fragmented across many pages). Once you review a lot of the crap that is put up for deletion you may change. Also, if you like what you see, please sign the members list. --maclean25 01:05, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Featured article for December 25th[edit]

I noticed you have listed yourself in Category:Atheist Wikipedians. That said, you will probably be interested in my suggested featured article for December 25th: Omnipotence paradox. The other suggestion being supported by others for that date is Christmas, although Raul654 has historically been against featuring articles on the same day as their anniversary/holiday. — BRIAN0918 • 2005-11-28 08:07

Userbox Conspiracy[edit]

Hello, I regret you inform you that userboxes will most likely be nonexistent in a number of days, to weeks, or even months when considering the voluminous amount of the aforementioned. Rob McKay has informed me, and his user page details the erasing of userboxes by extreme admins, and it seems they are winning. This is also evidence of the rapid deleting of templates and userboxes. Please take a look at the Deletion log to see. Individual admins are also doing their share of damage to userboxes. Kelly Martin deletes many (and a lot of the templates she deletes are often reviewed, and reinserted into the namespace), as well as Mushroom. Please inform others, show your support for userboxes, and take individual codes from any userboxes you may have and replace your template userboxes with them, so as to prevent any other admins from attempting to delete them. There may in fact be a cabal. Thanks. Эйрон Кинни 17:28, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This user box purge is sickening. Canadianism 22:58, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid the purge will continue, and we can't halt it. I, from firsthand experience know, confronting someone, especially an administrator, will only result in a block or a majorital rebuttal by many, many other administrators. Therefore, I think we should tend to our own namespace and act as though this did not affect our bias whatsoever. Collectively, we can prevail, but cutting off the head of the snake only angers it. Эйрон Кинни 23:59, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe when you attempt this, however you are impolite and "politically incorrect". My nicely worded, civil letter, shouldn't cause too much backlash. Canadianism 00:02, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hate to say I told you so. Wait; are you saying I was impolite? Эйрон Кинни 00:09, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was unfairly blocked[edit]

I just read the disruption policy and don't see any matches too what I did. I didn't harass or alter talk posts, nor did I personally attack User:Kelly Martin. Furthermore, I wasn't warned. Canadianism 01:10, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kelly Martin's entire reason for blocking was that I was distrubing Wikipedia, which isn't the case. I have not personally attacked her or modified any talk posts. Furthermore, when did I say that it was my intent to continue distrubtion? I never said that, the claim she made was a falsehood. All I did was present a civil and reasonable argument against userbox deletion upon the basis of the lack of a definition for "inflammatory ". This was a reasonable argument and should have been debunked. Rather, I was censored and blocked for twenty four hours. Canadianism 06:29, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I left a message supporting you on her talk page, this is ridiculous. The Ungovernable Force 07:07, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
see my userpage. If you need any support, just say the word. The Ungovernable Force 07:18, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ridiculous indeed. She wants to block me, especially for what I posted on her talk page 5 months ago. Эйрон Кинни 09:31, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That is absurd. One incivil action, quite a while ago, is worth letting go of. The Wikicommunity must move one. Oh, and the block has ceased! Canadianism 01:52, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Goyim"[edit]

Goyim, as a contraction of "Goyey Haaretz" means "nations [of the world]" in Hebrew. He uses Goyim in a pejorative sense, as present in English, but which is absent in Hebrew. Now, anyone can profess whatever they want, but for the purposes of Judaism, you cannot convert out. If you were born Jewish, you are expected to behave in accordance with the Law of Moses, and you cannot opt-out. It's kind of like the Cosa Nostra: once you're a made man, you're in for life. - CrazyRussian talk/email 04:37, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That appears to be a peculiar doctrine. In my opinion, one isn't religiously Jewish if they do not believe in the dogmas of Judaism. Furthermore, one isn't cultrally Jewish if one doesn't acceot Jewish cultures. To me, at least, the doctrine appears relatively absurd. Canadianism 04:55, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

practical = empirical?[edit]

Why identify practical reason with empirical reason? "Empirical" means based on observation. "Practical" means leading to action. You can do lots of empirical science without ever applying it to decision and subsequent action. Michael Hardy 02:02, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I did so as empirical and practical reason seem to be used synomously often. If you think I was going a bit to far and was incorrect, please edit the article. Canadianism 02:12, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Secular Coalition.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Secular Coalition.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:35, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is celebrating its 15th birthday on January 15, 2016. I have thought for a while that it would be neat to meet some local wikipedians. According to the wikipedians in Winnipeg or Wikipedians in Manitoba category you are one of us. I am contacting people in this category to say: Let's celebrate this milestone. If you know other wikipedians, please ask them to join in as well.

I am posting this to your talk page as a transclude so that any updates will show up automatically.

Hope to see you there! Tenbergen (talk) 04:46, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
