Speedy deletion of The Vulgar Bulgars

Klezmer articles
Thanks for working on some of the klezmer articles here on Wikipedia. I have recently started editing again and tried to give my attentions to the neglected/low-quality klezmer stuff on here. One thing I regret not being able to do is put some of the information from "Fiddler on the Move" with citations up here--it hast stuff printed about the revival I have not seen anywhere else. Unfortunately I have never seen a copy in my city, and I'm not sure if I want to pay to have it delivered thru interlibrary loan again. - Hi. Thanks. Quite a few of the Klezmer articles need some citations/references, so I'll work on them as and when I have the time. I haven't seen "Fiddler on the Move", but I'll check some libraries when I'm back in the UK next week (I'm not there now). I'm not sure if it costs anything for UK inter-library loans (I know it used to be free in the past), but I'll check that too. -- Boing! said Zebedee 03:46, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, I responded in the article's talk page. The article isn't proposed for deletion or anything, but it needs some good outside sources talking about the subject. Sorry I was unclear with the newspaper and magazine comment. I was just trying to give examples, reliable websites, books or other sources would be okay too. Let me know if I can be of any help. - By the way if you're ever searching for information if you type wp: subjectyouarelookingfor in the serach box it works pretty well. So "wp: references" would bring up that article. ChildofMidnight (talk) 07:13, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

- Yeah it's useful for all the acronyms people use too, just search wp: ACRONYM I added some sources. Some are better than others, but at least there's something. You can use the first source to add content to the article and then footnote the citations. I believe that's the way it's done properly, which is why I changed it to footnotes from references. The references are really sources, but that section is usually footnotes, but I'm going to start a trend away from that. :) good night. They sound like a good band. - Thanks very much for taking the trouble to find those sources, it is much appreciated. (I like your "footnotes" format - it's closer to the academic way of doing it. I do get confused by the multitude of different ways that Wikipedia articles document citations, references, footnotes, sources ;-( ). I probably won't have time to do any more on it for a few days now, but I'll probably ask you to cast an eye over it for me when I'm done, if you wouldn't mind. I found that you can read parts or most of a number of books on klezmer on Google Books (google it.heh) I put in some citations from Fiddler on the Move and American Klezmer using it. Dan Carkner (talk) 23:52, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
