December 2022[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Liberty University, you may be blocked from editing. —C.Fred (talk) 19:19, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The quote is about the Falkirk center not about Liberty. It is clearly explained that way in the Politico article. I am not affiliated with Liberty nor a fan of them in anyway, but please do not promote false information about something you do not agree with on Wikipedia. Also the center was established as a way to promote minority leadership as I know someone who went there and went through the center and program. Please do not delete or flag constructive edits simply because you do not agree with something.0 BananamanCarl77 (talk) 19:45, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Falkirk Center, now renamed, the university’s internal “think tank” according to the source. And your other editor wasn’t sourced and would need secondary sources. Doug Weller talk 19:56, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It’s the Standing for Freedom Center which is still separate from the educational aspects of the university and Prevo was talking specifically about that part and not the overall mission of the school. The source is about the President of the university and the university, it is clearly relevant and if you don’t see that there’s a problem. And as I said, we need secondary sources actually discussing the Center, not Liberty itself. “ Upholding Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act while promoting a biblically based perspective regarding the diversity of God’s kingdom as reflected in our campus culture.
Maintaining equity and fostering inclusion as accomplished with the foremost goal of glorifying God.” are ambiguous. So when independent sources actually discuss it, that’s the time for consideration of inclusion. Doug Weller talk 20:13, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
