August 2013[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Feeling Good has been reverted.
Your edit here to Feeling Good was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-fx_PPxAuY) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Innocent Ekejiuba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 03:33, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bassey Ikpi, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://irockjazz.com/2015/01/irock-jazz-live-with-poet-writer-bassey-ikpi/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Richard Ikiebe, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:30, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Richard Ikiebe[edit]

Hello, 7ru57. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Richard Ikiebe".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 16:01, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Take part in a survey[edit]

Hi 7ru57

We're working to measure the value of Wikipedia in economic terms. We want to ask you some questions about how you value being able to edit Wikipedia.

Our survey should take about 10-15 minutes of your time. We hope that you will enjoy it and find the questions interesting. All answers will be kept strictly confidential and will be anonymized before the aggregate results are published. Regretfully, we can only accept responses from people who live in the US due to restrictions in our grant-based funding.

As a reward for your participation, we will randomly pick 1 out of every 5 participants and give them $25 worth of goods of their choice from the Wikipedia store (e.g. Wikipedia themed t-shirts). Note that we can only reward you if you are based in the US.

Click here to access the survey: https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eXJcEhLKioNHuJv

Thanks

Note that I have moved this article back to draft space. Editors are generally discouraged from moving draft articles they aim to create via the AfC into the mainspace themselves. You should instead wait for an experienced AfC reviewer to approve it instead. I came across your page while patrolling new pages, and moved it back to draft because it has a number of issues, which I have mentioned on the article. If you would like further input or advice, you should ask a question at WP:AFCHELP Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n! 07:45, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

For clarity's sake, please see the above section. In the draft you recently submitted, you had placed several false references. At least two did not even say one word about the subject of the article, and were about entirely different subjects, only putting something similar in the article title. Falsification of references is absolutely unacceptable. If you will agree to refrain from this practice in the future, and to remove all false references you have to date placed, I am willing to unblock you, but I cannot impress upon you enough the seriousness of this. It is a serious breach of trust for an editor to do something like that, and given that it occurred repeatedly, it was clearly intentional. Request reason:

I am totally sorry for the disruptive and shitty editing, I will remove all of the unrelated references and I can assure you it will NEVER happen again, as this is the first time in my entire history please look upon this as an isolated mistake, thank you very much.

Accept reason:

Per the above conditions, I have unblocked you. Going forward, please take care that when using a reference, it directly supports the article text it is used for. Any references which do not will need to be removed or replaced in any of your drafts prior to resubmission via AfC. Seraphimblade Talk to me 18:35, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I majorly cut down on your article. This is because a lot of it to me seemed like it was written as a promotion. Feel free to add in that material, just rewrite it so it is written in a neutral tone (see WP:NPOV).

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Sam-2727}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Invisible Borders Trans-African Photographers Organisation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kamembe (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Mustapha Ado Muhammad a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Wikipedia:Mustapha Ado Muhammad. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
