Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (170.24.150.111) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Request reason:

I know Gale5050 block evaded, but the entirety of POBMS school was blocked! Isn't there another way?170.24.150.111 (talk) 16:38, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You should create an account at home/elsewhere, or if you don't have internet access elsewhere you may request that an account be created for you at WP:ACC. 331dot (talk) 17:03, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Isn't there another way to do this so that innocent users are not blocked? 170.24.150.111 (talk) 16:38, 3 March 2020 (UTC) Also account creation is blocked? 170.24.150.111 (talk) 16:38, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As I said, you may request an account be created for you at WP:ACC. Unfortunately, some bad actors make such blocks necessary. 331dot (talk) 14:31, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not every subtropical storm has an article[edit]

Hello there, and welcome to Wikipedia! I just want you to know that not every subtropical storm has an article, such as Subtropical Storm Rebekah in 2019. We usually merge articles per a notability guideline, and articles that are not about notable subjects are merged or redirected. Please also note that even featured articles can be merged, and that people's work is protected in the page history. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy editing here. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 17:51, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You don't have to change your opinion on the merge discussion, but I suggest you change the slightly incorrect information on your !vote. Thanks. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 18:06, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive behavior. Do not use multiple IP addresses to disrupt Wikipedia or avoid scrutiny, like you did at Talk:Hurricane Michael. Such attempts to avoid detection, circumvent policies or evade blocks or sanctions will not succeed. If you continue your deceptive behavior or continue to make disruptive edits (either intentionally or unintentionally), you may be blocked from editing. You really, really need to stop. HurricaneTracker495, you decided days ago to go on a week-long Wikibreak. Stick to it. You're just going to cause more problems on Wikipedia and yourself if you continue trying to circumvent it. You are about to wear out the patience of the admins and other editors on this site. I suggest that you refrain from testing their patience any further.
