Hello All,

My name is William Sean Ohlinger, although I have published scientific articles under W.S. Ohlinger and William S. Ohlinger, I typically go by my middle name "Sean". I was born in Macon, GA, USA, where my parents attended Mercer University. After starting my education at the University of Florida, I had a 5 year hiatus in the United States Marine Corps where I served as an avionics and electronics engineer in the USMC during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I completed my education in Biology with an emphasis in Biochemistry from the University of California, Irvine. After three years working for SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline), I joined the company Wavefunction, Inc. I am a contributor to the molecular modeling program Spartan, and the general chemistry education software application, Odyssey.

I am a new contributor to Wikipedia in the computational chemistry space. Other areas of interest and possible contribution include chemistry education, in particular the use of graphical models (electrostatic potential maps, ionization potential maps, and molecular orbitals) to enhance and supplement organic chemistry and biochemistry topics.
