Identity[edit]
Anarchist, Agender, Pansexual, uses E/Em(specifically the LambaMOO[b] variety), It/Its, and They/Them pronouns.
Biasies[edit]
I am biased, very much so. However, I am aware where my biases are so if there is reason for me to suspect my biases may lead to a conflict of interest, I will put it in the talk page or notes (if a mod or someone else who actually knows what they're doing comes across this, please clarify). However, most of my edits will be in areas where I am somewhat knowledgeable in, or at the very least one of my nitpicks
Politics[edit]
My political identity, broken down into categories based on how closely I adhere to them.
Practical[edit]
Politically an anarchist, self describes as a "Communal EcoAnSynth with Egoist and Trotskyite characteristics".
Philosophical[edit]
The Egoist characteristics in question is a philosophical world view of people acting in their own self interest.
Theoretical[edit]
General Note: I do not support concepts in this section. They seem intriguing, but strictly on a hypothetical level. I would not act on any of these concepts. To reiterate, these are more of a curiosity than an actual position I truly hold.[c]
The Trotskyite characteristic in question is the belief in a Permanent Revolution, where once a revolution breaks out in one nation and becomes self sufficient, it should provoke and aid in other revolutions.[d]
Nitpicks[edit]
- Equating Marxism-Leninism, Maoism, Dengism, 'Modern Chinese Socialism', Titoism, etc with Communism.
- Nothing particularly against Titoism, but calling any of these ideologies Communist is wholly inaccurate.
- I define communism (specifically a communist society) be a society that is classless, moneyless, stateless, socialist, and has a Dictatorship of the Proletariat (DotP). A socialist society is a society where the means of production (MoP) are owned by the people and there is a possible (but not necessary) DotP. DotP is the exclusion of any bourgeois class from the political process, ie the exclusive rule of the proletariat, this is not a dictatorship as commonly understood within liberal democracies (bourgeois dictatorships would be a more accurate term, but i digress) as under this definition, it would exclude polities such as the USSR as the state controlled most things, concentrating power into the hands of the state, essentially forming another bourgeois class.
- Calling the Soviet Union 'Russia'
- There was more than just Russia in the Soviet Union
- Calling the Soviet people 'Russian(s)'
- As above, and while I understand that the Soviet Union was dominated by Russians, calling every Soviet citizen 'Russian' only adds to the domination of the union and does not represent the true multicultural nature of the population. It would be akin to calling the people in the us[a] 'Anglos'. While that nation is dominated by people of English heritage, it ignores all of the various other ethnicities present.
