Well, Hello there fellow Wikipedia traveler! I just think this is more of a WYSIWYG page inspired by Nathan Obral (Also known as Rusky Muck)[a] I'm mostly here to check on Broadcasting pages and other stuff, but mostly broadcasting stations.

As I mentioned on the Infobox of Miles Cospaw, I'm from the Metropolitan area of Kansas City, Missouri, the one with the 2 phone numbers on the different states, Area Codes 816 and 975 in Missouri and 913 in Kansas. (The Royals need to get new players, they're going stale.[b] This was from 2023.) I actually go to school here as well, just closer to the Missouri River. (Here's a fact, the school I go to is the most diverse high school in the entire state of Missouri.)

By the way, check out the Kansas City metropolitan area if you want to, I guess. You know, I can't stop you. Speaking of Kansas City, it's the City of Fountains, and its very own Barbecue

Also, I absolutely despise the weather in Kansas City sometimes. Like, it feels like it's a nice day but then 1 hour later, it's pouring cats and dogs over KC then it stops without any reasoning.

I'm in the Central Time Zone, so WDAF-TV (Fox 4 Kansas City) has their prime time newscast at 9pm but they do extend that newscast to an full-hour at 10 (WDAF is one of a few Fox affiliates in Central/Mountain Time that their late news does extends to 2 full hours ending with the 10pm newscast.) Another thing about Kansas City's TV stations is that KCTV (No, not that KCTV (KLST) in Texas) is always called KCTV5, especially now with the internet, it does NOT want to be confused with the North Korean television service, Korea Central Television.[c] Oh yea, it also transmits from the KCTV Broadcast Tower in East 31 Street near the studios of KCPT and KTBG since 1956.[d]

Speaking of Broadcast stations... the Near-Local Television Stations in my Area include... (if the Community of license is not in Kansas City, Missouri, it will be included.)

North America's Solar Eclipse of 2024 happened on April 8th 2024. I did took some pictures but I'm not uploading them, it was light outside, I was not in darkness, Kansas City wasn't in the path of totality. Also it's more symbolic to me since I saw North America's Socal Eclipse of 2017 full-on. Like, the path of totality was in Kansas City that year and I was in total darkness. I do hope everyone in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and everyone at KFVS (Channel 12) enjoyed the eclipse since y'all were in the totality zone.

I'm also a big book person, in my house, there's a small library, with even some banned books... which is interesting. However, I need to read some books. I mean, there's a library and I'm in the Library book club, so that should be an reason to read some books. And yes, sometimes there are free books.

Yea, I'm a furry. However, I'm more confused by what I should do, y'know? I got introduced to the fandom by some of my friends at Middle School (Thanks Jillian). That and also the Internet. And just like that, I got hooked into that community and turned into one, LMFAO. I don't have any idea of what my fursona would be but it would be a gray-whiteish wolf, 'Cause I think they are quite fluffy and cute. I've never seen a wolf with my two eyes, but they are rather cool, honesty. Yea, don't judge. (See that get deleted after I'm done here XD)[citation needed]

Also, just remember that Wikipedia is a work of progress and won't be finished in our lifetime because as stuff happens, we have to cover it and we're only getting started with the articles.[e] Stay tuned, this place might get even crazier. As well, Our goal is the Destruction of our purpose.[f]

Stuff About Me[edit]

Well, this can end well for me. (Or not, probably not at all)[edit]

My take on Low-Power Television Stations AfDs[edit]

This is what I said on February 4th, 2024. TL;DR: Not all Low-Power Stations are un-notable.

Quoted:

Ahem, Hold on... No Vote, let me explain: So... Like what Some Person (yes, that's the person's name, I ain't kidding) and WcQuidditch said, Low-Power Television stations are more likely to have no sources, therefore, unexpected (or expected, depending on some stuff) consequences, are more likely to not make Wikipedia's Notability Rules. I mean this with all honesty, I hope that Wikipedia doesn't look at this stations and others and presume that All Low-Power Stations are not-notable. Some of them are notable but if they made a rule that says that Low-Power TV Stations are non-notable, I feel like that wouldn't end well for a lot of stations. And to also add a bit of irony in this situation, if there's a really short radio article, we don't pit a AfD on it, we call it a stub article, and we also wound do that on Full-Power TV stations, but only Low-Power ones are put under either PROD or AfD. Like, it feels like we are probably taking a All or Nothing approach on Low-Power Stations; Take a look of the K04QR-D AfD, it started out of a station in California, which led to a jumbled mess which literally 75%-85% of all HC2/Innovate Corporation LOW-POWER stations were involved in, which led to a No-Consensus. Like, if that went successful, that should've also took all of the Full-Power stations since, they technically lost their notability that made no sense. Either we just hate Low-Power Television or what the deal? Again, I'm neutral on this and I will not take any sides, okay? mer764KCTV(Talk) 03:48, 4 February 2024 (UTC)

Notelist[edit]

  1. ^ Someone who revamped some broadcast stations, like the duopoly of WWJ-TV (Channel 62) and WKBD, (Channel 50) both in Detroit, Michigan. He also revamped WSVN (Channel 7) in Miami, Florida plus WOIO (Channel 19), WUAB (Channel 43), and WTCL-LD (Channel 6), all three located and serves Cleveland, Ohio with WOIO being licensed to Shaker Heights, Ohio and WUAB being licensed to Lorain, Ohio. Check those articles out! Sammi Brie also helped with the WWJ-TV and WKBD articles.
  2. ^ Well, that statement aged like milk sitting in the hot DFW Sun, they beaten the Chicago White Sox, now all we had to do was to make sure the Chicago Cubs suffer.
  3. ^ It's like how Tegna's WXIA (Channel 11) in Atlanta, Georgia, an NBC Affiliate is branded as 11Alive since the 1970s (when it was an ABC affiliate) under the ownership of the Combined Communications Corporation of Phoenix, Arizona (besides an short break in the mid-1990s which was so controversial in Atlanta that the Gannett Company had to reverse the change) or like how Griffin Media's Tusla, Oklahoma's KOTV's (Channel 6) news operation since the late 1980s or the early 1990s is branded as The News on 6 meaning that there are some examples of how it works liek the fromer example from 2008 where the 9pm newscast on KQCW-DT was called The News on 6 at 9 on The CW 12/19.
  4. ^ The studios of TV-19 and FM-90.9 was the studios of the then KCMO-TV until it and their former radio sister stations KCMO-AM (810, moved to 710 in 1998) and KCMO-FM (94.9 FM) moved to Fairway, Kansas in 1972, a decade before the television station changed their call sign after the radio stations were sold off.
  5. ^ There's no deadline, Y'all.
  6. ^ Basically, the goal of Wikipedia will also be its destruction (I think). R.I.P. Vami VI, that person will be missed.
