About me

My name is Ashish Sampat, born 1974 at Mumbai, India. I studied Accounting and Finance, but am currently working as an IT professional for an Indian IT company, presently deputed on a customer project in USA.

My interests

Anything that adds knowledge is of interest to me. I like quizzing and trivia and knowing more about places, people and history.

Me at Wikipedia

I am an avid Wikipedia information seeker since August 2005. Wikipedia has been a great source of information for me, I have benefitted a lot by reading it. I now feel that I am ready to start contributing articles to Wikipedia. I therefore became a Wikipedian in November 2005. At this date, I am a very new entrant to Wikipedia and therefore do not have many contributions till date. Will update this page with more information, as and when I have more articles to my credit!!

My task list

I will start with the neighbourhoods where I have lived, my alma maters where I have studied and similar such information which is linked to me and I think others might want to know more about. I will also edit pages where I feel I know something more than what has been already written and others too might want to know more about it.
